i'd recommend a better example photo, because your work is just as neat and clean as the ofp stuff - but as you said, much more stuff to be added...

Yeah, like I said, still too clean. The photo doesn't do it justice, but you can see the beginnings of the grunge under the roofline and along the bottoms of the walls. Also, the signage is non-uniform, and the rusty corrugated metal roof doesn't show up too well with the size limit restrictions on photos we can post here. A lot needs to be done still, in particular, the filthy metal vents on the front walls under the awnings and the cluttered objects out front. Conduit and wires need to be added, as does all the crap on the roof. I need to do the side walk out front and it needs to get much, much dirtier. All this takes time, but I have to say, if any modders out there doing environmental stuff aren't taking factors like this into consideration, then your work is subpar.

Realism in the environments is the single biggest lacking feature to the game, which is why I started 3WX.

OFP needs more civillians like scientists in long white coats, medical personnel and ambulances, construction workers and contruction equipment. But while we're talking about Islands I think you all should try Mungari. It has the environment of Tonal, but with more stuff, and less lag. Like it has harbors using the AGS kit and stuff like that, industrial, power plant, stuff like that. Basically though, all i think is left is buildings and civillians to really make ofp realistic.

OPF needs a good desert/afghan/iraq style map, and i mean a finished one with good quality custom buildings and textures and objects. And also various good OPFor packs, terrorist, militia, and other non militay units with matching civies (we already got plenty quality us and russian units).

And while im at it OPF needs standard color values for cammo, and some comun amunition sound and config so that addons from diferent mod teams blend in with eachother (JAM style). Ex: there should be a color template so that some vehicals dont look too bright or pale compared to others  rock.gif , this shows allot especially in desert cammo'ed vehicals, Also some standard sound for comun weapons like vehical mounted .50 cals, M240's or dshk's machine guns so that these vehicals feel more compatible with eachother, templates and cooperation smile_o.gif .
