2 'new' bugs

2 bugs that seem new.

Support waypoint does not service players anymore, however AIs use support fine.

The: This switchlight "on" command seems to work the first time, but then crash OFP without an error the second time the mission is

accessed.

Has anyone else seen this?

I have noticed it too, but only in MP. It makes support vehicles rather useless.

Also, I have found another issue. I searched and couldn't find it anywhere else. When using the removeWeapon scripting command on say my Bradleys where the TOWs are in 2 round magazines, if there is a partially used magazine, when you do a addWeapon to readd the weapon, the magazine is refilled, essential giving you unlimited ammo.

suporting dont work???I dont think so!!

Place Ural ammo  on map give him suport waypoint.

Place BMP on map make like that that he will have 10%  of ammo and watch.

First u will hear Need ammo suport on position xx, than suporting ammo on position xx  .Ural will came and suport ur BMP.

Suporting works in version 1.96!!!! U need to call 5-5 (123) for suport

Truck will come!

I think they are talking about Multiplayer. I haven't tested it there so i can't say.

Yes, seen the support thing, I never looked into it closely to confirm 100%, but i never got support in 1.96 I know that. (MP)

Hi all,

the support didnt work for MP in 1.95 either. In SP it works fine.

The problem is for MP is that the support vehicles are local to the "Server", unless you are the comander of the support they wont come.

But there is a script on OFPEC to get support with "SingleMapclick" in MP to work.  biggrin_o.gif

@ Hide: why even bother with reading them???

Yeah there is a support script but this isn't about scripting it, that's the whole point of built in support features/waypoints.

I'll add another one: Using landing autopilot no longer works in that the plane never seems to find the right AoA and approach vector.

So, what do we have that used to work, IIRC:

<ul>[*]Heaps of "locality issues" (e.g inability to order your troops out of a vehicle they are not not local to)

[*] Support WP all but useless in MP if human players need to call for support from AI vehicles. And I/we frequently need to.

[*] MP: Transport Unload WP...same thing...its broken (AI helos inserting human+AI squads). Result: helo hovering over the Trp UL wp.

[*] AI:s landing planes...gone. Players autolanding planes...gone

[*] AI:s wont rearm when ordered to do so by their AI leader.

Seems the AI gets more and more nerfed by every patch...which is sad. sad_o.gif
