llauma 0 Posted May 28, 2004 Okay, no argueing about which sky is the best. My sky wouldn't be anything without Keg's clouds. They are very different so try them both and use the one you like the most. I dont care which one you use just as long as you are happy. Unfortunatly you can't combine them but you can add the rain textures from Keg's sky to mine. Just copy the mrak_war*.paa's from the hisky\newdata dir to llauma_sky\newdata dir and run install.bat. llauma 0 Posted May 28, 2004 I will test if I can make new rain textures but I'm not sure they will be better. I guess I'll find out... I have modified silensians green water textures so they are more blue but I need to tweak them a little more and also ask him if it's okay to release them. I didn't mean to make the screenie look like the picture but as I thought it looked like the Shetland islands I search the web to find something to compair to and this one turned up. Mellis 0 Posted May 29, 2004 The new skypack looks really natural combinating this sky with the new moon/star pack and a waterpack.. makes OFP better
llauma 0 Posted May 29, 2004 The new skypack looks really natural combinating this sky with the new moon/star pack and a waterpack.. makes OFP better  Thanx.. That was the idea. Making something that makes OFP look worse was not the plan
llauma 0 Posted May 30, 2004 I re-coloured Silensians green sea textures into blue. They look less tropical now... The credits goes to Silensian for making the great original textures. Install: Copy the textures(*.pac) to the \newdata directory and run install.bat. **Download** I also renamed the sky release into Llauma sky 2 as it doesn't contain anything from my first sky except for what Kegetys made. So no need to download it if you have 1.x and happen to see 2.0 somewhere.

Hit_Sqd_Maximus 0 Posted June 3, 2004 Is the sky any different or is it just the water that has been edited?
cornhelium 0 Posted June 3, 2004 Hey Llauma, I just tried your v2 sky, and I have to say it's absolutely beautiful. Was just watching a storm roll in on FDF Winter East Border at sunset ...at the moment I'm using your sky for all northern hemisphere stuff and the Unsung sky for all equatorial stuff. C'est parfait! Cheers, Cornhelium

Gollum1 0 Posted June 3, 2004 I'm using this sky at the moment, I didn't like it at first because of the blue fog at the view distance limit and IMO too strong blue sky, but it's a good change from Keg's sky that I've been using for over a year, Llauma sky is clean and simple. llauma 0 Posted June 3, 2004 Thanx alot.. I know it a little too blue but unless people starts a riot I will leave it like that. The sky it self isn't much to talk about. The reason why it looks good is because I noticed that a really low res sky looks great. Without Keg's clouds it wouldn't be anything. Sure I wish it could be more dramatic but Kegetys sky is that and the unsung mod is working on a sky too which seems to be more tropical. Those who want's to modify the sky gradient can easily do that in PS. Just make a 16x16pxl gradient for the clear sky (jasno.pac). The others are higher res and require a little more work to look good. The reason why I renamed it to Llauma sky 2.0 is because I didn't mean to release it as a finished sky pack. I just shared it so people could get nice screenies. People seemed to like it and as I had replaced all of my textures from v1.0 it was stupid calling it 1.x The water is just something I did for fun so I didn't include it in the sky pack as I will propably be improving it. Blanco 0 Posted June 3, 2004 Amazing sky, Llauma Everything on the island looks sharper when I use you sky, or is it just my imagination? Colours are not so "gloomish" anymore... G8 job !
