I heard about it. I have a LightWave and 3DSMAX. I was working hard to make a a detailed extended buttstock. It took me about three days, then I realized it was all crap. O2 wouldn't except anything more than 4 verticle polygon rock.gif

Yes I Have just begun working on making addons and modelling about 5 days ago. I am all gone. I working like crazy 12-15 hours a day. Sleeping from 3 in the morning till 8 am.

I usually don't like taking up tasks which would end up crap. So, I working my ass up to do the best thing available. That concernes just about everything I do.

I am thinkin about animation which is a bit out of place in OFP. But one thing at a time. biggrin_o.gif

You can edit the textures to create a see-through hole. I don't think that there's a way to cut holes in existing faces.

i would advice few fancy things... oh.. i feel speakless. i dont knowhe words... anyway. How do you call that thing that you must move backwards when you insert new magazine? Then this little thing should move everytime you shoot to insert new bullet into the muzzle. i saw ORCS made it on Ranger's pistol, but i wander why no1 made it on riffles?

If you didnt get what i said, i'll post picture.  smile_o.gif

You don't have to move enything on the M16 family when you reload you just hit the Bolt release on the left side and the weapon automaticly reloads just like a pistol just let the bolt slide forward, and like m21man said you cant see it in OFP first person view.

Oh okays that the Bolt if you dident know.

I know it moves automaticly or rater it is driven by a rod or by gas like the AR15 family so when you fire the gas that comes out of the round and moves after the bullet it self and when the bullet passes the front sight of the AR15 there is a hole upwards where the gas is presed up and thru a pipe(which is right above the Barrel) back to the upper reciver and in to the top of bolt where there is a reciver and when the gas hits it, it is presed back but at the same time the spring which sits in the back of the AR15 is compresed(plus the emty round is thrown out) to the point when it becomes "stronger" than the force given by the gas and the spind pusches forward the Bolt which at the same time "picks" up a round from the to of the mag. and press it in to the chamber and the AR15 is ready to fire again and if the gun is on AUTO and the trigger is pressed the gun will continue to do this un til the mag is emty.

Looking for resources I found a page with a couple hundred pics of guns.

One particular drew my attention. Here it is. The name speaks for itself.

Do you know of any sites with good Metalic textures?

I am thinking of a metal that guns are build from.

Thank you.

Here is the preliminary picture. The gun has been totaly reworked as I was not happy with its looks.

Still untextured.

The name has also changed. I call it now M4-MRP (Monolitic Rail Platform or sth wink_o.gif )

It will have some neat stuff if I figure how to active them.

Anyway, here it is.

Hey,

I am looking for some real good textures. Whatever I choose or make in Photoshop turns out to be something different in OFP.

That was supposed to be desert camo.

I would need regular weapon colour, desert and probably woodland.

test11.jpg

Can anyone help.

Ahhh,

Also, What exactly do I have to do to add shadow to +300 weapon?
