BoweryBaker 0 Posted May 9, 2004 is it just me or is it impossible to find a working link to the hk pack 1? I've searched far and wide to all the ofp websites and can't seem to find that sucker. my search has been limited to english speaking sites only though. if any of you that speak another language can offer me the hk pack please do. all of the english sites don't have links to the hk pack one anymore. ag_smith 0 Posted May 9, 2004 Speaking of that, has anybody heard anything about possible update to this pack? Even though made a long ago, it's some really nice weapons and units, but it's totally useless beacuse it's extremly unbalanced with any other OFP troops. BoweryBaker 0 Posted May 9, 2004 now hk pack 2 is easy to find. its just that hk pack one is the hardest, and did you know one small tidbit, that the hk pack two had marpat marines way before suchey and earl did? hk pack two even has navy seals, seal team six, and marine force recon in desert and woodland colors for all those teams. but it requires hk pack one to work. Thanks for reminding me about atwar and i must say to all of you out there waiting for the bas navy seals just give the hk pack ones a try.
BoweryBaker 0 Posted May 9, 2004 after some testing i can see why noone uses those lost brothers navy seals. they're wackola. same with all of the other special ops units in hk pack two. hk pack one however has some very good mafia units and terrorists. not bad. only problem is you can't place groups, you have to group individual units. Also hk pack one has a crap load of good weapons to use.
@cero 0 Posted May 10, 2004 I would like to be able to get that pack updated. I really like it, and the weapons are ideal for SAS missions. The only problem is that no one seems to managed to get an answer from the members from Lobo Team. To be onest, I woulddn't mind if they were JAM. @ BoweryBaker. Yes, you have them in groups aswell. Remember that the Mafia, terrorist, mercenaries and fundamentalist, are grouped in East, and the German units in Resistance. I never bother downloading pack II, but pack I is great, just needs updating. @CERO.
T.S.C.Plage 0 Posted May 10, 2004 I was some kind of involved in the development of this pack and I really don't know what "HK-Pack II" should be? I'm nearly sure it's not from the LoBos (or better Vipersheart), maybe a redo by an other community member. If you need a donwload-link for the "normal" version...here (ca. 19MB). Also I can tell you that there will be surely no update in anykind. Vipersheart (former Leader of the LoBos and addonmaker) joined BAS some time ago and will wotk for them now. Major Fubar 0 Posted May 10, 2004 Not to contradict you, but HK pack 2 was released at the lost brothers website...it contains US & UK special forces. I think it used weapons from FlipeR's M16 pack... http://ofp.gamezone.cz/index.php?showthis=2004
T.S.C.Plage 0 Posted May 10, 2004 Thanks for the info...I really didn't noticed this release or maybe I simply just lost it. Greetz Plage
MSpencer 0 Posted May 10, 2004 I liked the HK Pack 2, even though the MARPAT was lacking. However, it was way before Suchey and Earl and if the people had worked on it better, it would have equaled their talent before they started.
somebloke 0 Posted May 10, 2004 the hk pack 2 pissed me off as the British SAS had american flags on their arms.
