I think it's always better to have one for the OPFOR-side. (Are there any (east/resistance) countrys using this vehicle anyway? I have no idea. But if not, perhaps one for the FIA?) calm_terror 0 Posted April 14, 2004 LAV-25 is new and costs alot of money so resisstance side would not have them. and i know of only 2 countries who use the LAV-25 US and AU.. the east side equivant of the LAV is the BTR-60 through 90.. I could check but i think they only gave them 7.65mm, 12.7mm and 14.5mm guns. the BTR-80 had a 30mm cannon on it.. BTR-80 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

I've done, USMC LAV-25 (in green) Canadian Coyote DFSV (recce LAV-25 in the fire support role) Canadian LAV-III APC (Stryker hull with LAV-25 turret) Canadian Bison APC (8 wheeled LAV hull with a box on the back) Canadian Bison Ambulance Australian ASLAV (Aussie LAV-25) Cougar (6 wheeled Canadian LAV-1 Fire Support Vehicle with a 76mm armed Scorpion Turret) and I have yet to do: Stryker APC Stryker MGS (105mm gun POS) Stryker MEV (ambulance) LAV-III MGS (Canadian version of the Stryker MGS) Grizzly (Canadian 6-wheeled LAV-1 APC) As you can see, our project lists are pretty different.
