But 1: Square bunker? have any of you people ever filled and stacked sand bags. These things don't come by the pallet load to the field prefilled with exactly the same amount of sand in them. So unless you are a machine your sandbags are always different sizes 2: With a fighting position of any kind you want to give as much protection as you can. IE points of fire "open" non points as closed as possible. Each pont of fire from a position like this is given sectors which interlace with the other positions on your perimiter. In conclusion you don't need open air all the way around. Any way I'm not bitchen just saying to anyone who intends on making fighting positions to maybe go to the local Mil Surplus and look at the Infantrymans field manual (FM????-?? don't remember the nomenclature) as it has alot of diagrams for foxholes and fighting positions. All the same the above Bunker By Donnervogel is really good. Well tata Heh yeha you know. I wanted to keep it modular since it's a pain in the ass to make it all generic and at the same time let the textures match. Painting those textures are a real pain in the a**. So made stadartisized walls. For the protection... it's more like a lookout bunker or something like that. I saw some pictures of such bunkers. And since it looked easy to do I made it. I wanted to add many more Bunkers but time ran out for me. I can spend like 10-8 hours a week for OFPing. That's not much for addon making. I gave my work to Unsung mod that you guys can use it and make better things of it. So go on. You can use whatever you think you can use. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Shit the walls on that tower were nots. I mean each one has about 5-600 vertices in it. I don't think yours needs but minor changes. Like in the inside texture theres verticle boards and I think I'll add some actual ones and then re texture over them with the same texture other than that ?? I think it's OK. jakerod 254 Posted April 7, 2004 about the depression around the base thing. You can only make 50m x 50m depressions meaning you would have to make a 50m x 50m bunker so it would fill the whole gap. Im nearly positive 99.9% sure that 50m x 50m is the smallest you can get. Although I did think I heard of a 25m x 25m something back in time somewhere. Cause I do and I'm just an FNG ;) I'm not sure if I got it right but my bunker is not high poly. The whole bunker has 477 polys in the first LOD. And it uses some resolution LODS reducing it down to 93 polys. That's not much. You can add real wooden boards inside. I left them out because it was annoying when you were moving inside the bunker and you kept getting stuck at those places. So I removed the geo lod for the boards but then, sometimes the units were partially inide the wooden board. So I decided to texture them and not model them. It's somthing that people don't look at too much anyway when they're in the inside and fighting. ;) Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
