Some options I want to realistic flight model in OFP2:

- I want to choose play realistic or arcade mode

- config the menu bar itens in keyboard shortcut. It´s hard to use menu bar itens and joystick at same time. Itens I like to use in keyboard:

. auto-pilot modes

. speed brake

. wheel brake

. mouse look/mouse control

. raise/drop gear

. hook

. afterburner/WEP

. eject/bail out

. ECM

. chaff

. flare

. flap

. radar on/off

. zoom in/out - Without hold key

. normal zoom

. padlock

. next waypoint

. map zoom

- I want to create a keyboard config to every plane or chooper with the proper menu bar itens.

- I want a autopilot modes to my aircraft.

. auto-terrain following (chopper fly TF in OFP) with up end down to choose the altitude

. auto- straight and level (panic button). Keep the last altitude and direction

. auto-navigate (go to next waypoint)

. auto-trottle (keep the velocity when auto-trottle is hit)

. auto-land / auto take-off (we have auto-land in OFP)

. auto-engage (AI will atack target)

. auto-formation / air refueling (follow leader or follow air refueling plane

People will be able to fly the entire mission with autopilot.

- tracer more visible and with more smoke. I have problem to see small tracers in OFP.

- In flight I want to see the target like tags used in the game Wardird (IEN). Targets inside the radar field of vision will be showed. Target tracked by another partner will be showed also. Only the designated target are showed with tags in OFP.

- I want a CCIP mode (Continuosly Computed Initial Point) in the HUD/Sight. Maybe a pipe were all bombs home like a fake missile. I very hard to drop bombs in OFP.

- Taxi mode. Planes will have a limited speed an will not take damage.

- Radar Warning Receiver (RWR) to show the enemy radar. We could use the clock used to show the enemy direction (enemy five o´clock). Troops can use the RWR like a Sound warning receiver to "see" were the sound is coming. In real live I know instantly were the sound is coming. In OFP I have to turn my head and only hear continuous sound. Ghost Reacon have a threat indicator.

- Planes with realistic suspension. The noze will sink when I brake.

I can agree on some of them but not all. Becouse its a war simulation, not a flight simulation, we really don't need all

of this. Some of it can be automated.

I support all realistic flight options(can be switched in difficulty), especially a more realistic Vertical flight model for fixed wing aircraft, and perhaps calculations based on shape and not just class etc.

Using several game controllers at once is a _must_ for me (selected axis from each); especially since we have tanks, planes, boats, etc...

Listen to the gamers BIS. biggrin_o.gif

I start saying that realistic flight model is optional x arcade.

I forget to list black-out (G-LOC) and stoll.

Pilots and passengers should not miraculously appear outside the plane after clicking "bail" in the menu. For the pilot position there should be an "Enter/Leave Pilot seat" option unless there's an ejection seat.

I'd also like to see transport aircraft pilots have to bail through the doors everyone else uses. There's nothing more annoying than having the pilot bail without the passengers knowing. Also someone in the back of the plane should be able to run up to the cockpit and take the pilot seat.

Has anyone thought of what might happen if the person playing the pilot goes AFK? Others should be able to shove him off the seat without injury. If people fight over the pilot position, well that's just bad teamwork and not a matter for the OFP system to counter. I wouldn't get in a plane IRL if crewmembers were squabbling for the pilot seat.

I mentioned this a while back, but I still think that the joystick just moves the mouse cursor around the screen instead of performing like a real joystick.

apparently in the wargames addon pack, in helicopters cannot go 300mph or something like that unless something about the torque being uncontrollable. Maybe in all difficulty settings helicopters can only go so fast until they start to lose controlability. Plus newbies shouldn't be going so fast. tounge_o.gif (Like me and the dirt mixing at 300mph ^.^;;;)

I'd like to see an analog collective on the helicopter for all users. If you don't have a joystick then have an extra bar on the HUD that shows what percentage you are at. The keyboard users can bind a key to raise or lower it and obviously the joystick users can bind it to their throttle slider. Being able to just bind a key for "Move Up" and "Move Down" is too easy.

better taxiing for aircraft and maybe add in an animated nosegear that moves around according to the input put into the rudder while on the ground...and also a better turning radius for planes... smarter AI on the ground..... and wheels that spin!! biggrin_o.gif
