Unified animations pack v1.0

Awhile ago I was looking for animations to use for combat photography, I searched and found many different packs by many different authors. All were excellent, but the last thing I needed was 5+ pbos clogging up my already stacked addons folder. I thought "Hey, why not put all of the animations into one big pack?" 5 hours later I had compiled all of JSDF's, Wilco's and Hunter's animations into one pbo. I tweaked the times on a few so they would not be split second blurs and viola; I had made a unified animation pack containing over 100 user made animations!

Concept: Create one addon that contains all usermade animations. Make it easy for the user to use animations without having to hunt town many seperate packs. This addon will be updated with the release of more animations.

i´d be cool to add those lean animations into a mission or more specific to the actionmenu.

a script could check your unitpos status.

Nice I`ve tried the new hunter animations.And I have a question..Is it possible to bind animation to keys??

For example the punch animations.When you don`t have a weapon and you press LMB it should do that specific animation. Or lean right,lean left etc..

In all the switchmoves i made: I can shoot

It's just a simple line in the config to make it shoot.

It would be nice if you helped him out.....and alot of others aswell rock.gif

Wow, this is a really good idea, no more fishing around for anim pbo's any more. thanks Stg Milkman and all the animators out there who's animations are in this pack

And did I see any credits or a thnxs from him?

NO so I got the feeling to not help him any more...Is that feeling right placed or not? rock.gif

I understand some of the animations are a little quirky right now, but I am talking to hunter about some corrections. wink_o.gif

A little thing. Could you animation making guys agree on tagging animation Names with your OFPEC Tag? There can easily be complications with "common" animation names like "aim1" and "leanright"/"leanleft" when other people use the same name.

Are the descriptions of "kneeright" and "leanright" correct? Looking at the pics they lean/kneel to their left, don't they?

(Wasn't able to have a look at them ingame yet)

I like this pack, I already had these animations but all in one .pbo is better I think. The only thing you should add to the readme are the original authors.

I wish someone would make animations to replace the most common of the old and crappy standard ones, instead of making hundreds of static ones sad_o.gif

I have moved the weapons(ak47) so the trigger is in the soldiers fingers and hands holding the weapon but on the m16 the fingers are like in those pics ....

I will change all my Anim Names to OFPH_XXX.rtm

That nobody use the same name like stand1 and so on ..

Well to say what happend:

Some how the person and me got strugled and the step I am gonna take:

A simple one:

Remove the updated files from the HD and say:

Find some one else to do it.

What size are we talking here in terms of megs?

I'm the kind of person that hates huge packs of things. It severely limits your choices if you don't have 1+gigs of ram to throw about if there's one thing in say five huge packs of things you like.

My problem with this is if it would easily strip most normal systems of their physical memory before even being put to use on the actual game. Which means limited performance.

Since however I can get these anims in slightly more individual chunks. I don't mind at all any initiative to consolidate them. It's just if I'm forced to choke down one huge pack or leave it.

That's when I start getting a bit cheesed off.

waffendennis & HUNT666 if you have a problem with each other resolve it away from the forums like mature people or simply ignore each other, it would be a shame if one or both of you allowed your behaviour to become a forum disciplinary matter.
