Instead of carry this off topic any further, maybe we should get it back on topic , I can see this getting ugly, and no one wants that.

I'd say the addons im most looking forward to must be Flashpoint in FalkLands, for the obvious reason being Im British they are British addons, and I wanna finally play OFP as a Brit playing a Brit.

No it's more of a performance issue. Right now I have to make comprimises with what addons I want to use and what ones I switch to every now and again. Once you start going beyond the limits of your physical memory your system as I understand delves further into the wonderful world of pagefiles. Which essentially means allocating hunks of harddrive space for virtual memory. This however is less efficient and slower than your physical memory doing the job. And I hate, hate any thought of getting less frame rate than I think I should be getting given the current circumstances. I usually try to keep my addons used limited to the ones I'm using at that moment.

Which is why I'm disappointed with huge addon packs that force my computer to allocate huge gobs of virtual memory to load stuff I won't ever use. It seems like such a wretchedly pointless waste.

until UKF pull thier finger out thier ass, i am not going to be getting anything anyway. I felt i was justified into commenting after seeing Messiah posting some utter bullshit about UKF "in talks"...UKF are not in talks, they are damn right unhelpful. Ok, lets redefine that....UKF are helpful, Jonno is not.

Did you not stop, pull your head from up your ass, and consider, that if you had shown some willing, i might not have posted scathing comments on a public forum? I dont like your attitude either Jonno, your single minded and unwilling to share. Get over it.

For the public it means this. Rather than having an entire comprehensive SAS pack, with Jungle, woodland, urban, desert and artic units in it, modelled by me and textured by jonno, your now going to get Jungle SAS from nightstalker, and probably will never get a UKF SAS pack as comprehensive as what i was going to make, and even if you DO get some UKF SAS, it wont be as quickly as it could have been.

I approached UKF with this in mind, knowning that it would benefit all parties. They were all sweetness and light, and co-operation was agreed....then i come up against Jonno....unwilling to share a single thing. So.....that would mean i was both modelling and texturing an entire pack, when i only would have to model and texture Jungle SAS if i was just making for nightstalker. You can understand why im not happy........

Just to underline, its not a problem with Mav and the rest of UKF, its a problem with the xenophobe, Jonno.....the rest of you are good lads and can recognise the benefits of sharing.

Offtopic: PAthy, UKF are some of the nicest mod makers I have ever dealt with. I've discussed things with them (usually jonno) that I would not with many other mods. I agree, someone does need to pull thier head out of thier ass, but it is not UKF.

Ontopic: I would too like to see anything british. We, DKM are making a few but not very many. I would like to see more european high-quality addons such as german (thanks to MMP project that looks like it is happening) and other countries. I feel that would complete the addon gaps. We already have US units (BAS, etc), Russian units on the go (RHS, etc) and historical addons (ww2, falklands..) so european addons of high quality would make for a mixed and realistic battlefield.

You have zero factual ground, you are just saying that to try and sound good! Infact, you have zero factual basis for your entire post RE: UKF, you dont know ANYTHING of my dealings with UKF.

And on that note, reread my post, i never knocked UKF, infact i said 2x it was not UKF i was having problems with.

Anyway, issue has been solved, me and jonno got talking, tis all ok now, i'd appreciate it if you didnt bring it up again ok?

Acctually i never mentioned your dealingss with ukf. I said that the team are good people. I'm not doing this to "look good" becuase to be honest, I don't care whether you think I look good OR bad. And you say "i don't have a problem with UKF" well you have a problem with one of thier members and isn't the team made up of members?

Jag, as for you, i wish youd cut me some slack. I dont know what your problem is with me, i have absolutely nothing with you, but i remember a couple of months ago on ICQ, you just start attacking me when i wasnt even talking about anything related about you, and attacking me at every opportunity.....this might not be a deliberate continuation along this line by you, but from my angle it seems you are using every opportunity to attack me.
