hammy 0 Posted December 16, 2003 I can run it fine the first time right after i installed o2, but i close o2 and reopen it and i get a illegal operation in some dll called kernal32.dll or something like that. so i looked in the Objektiv2.rpt file in o2's directory and this is what it has to say: <table border="0" align="center" width="95%" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0"><tr><td>Code Sample </td></tr><tr><td id="CODE"> Posli tenhle report na adresu xnovako1@volny.cz ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ===================================================================== == Z:\O2\OBJEKTIV2LIGHT.EXE ===================================================================== Exe version: Wed Aug 21 14:59:44 2002 ======================================================= Date: 12/16/03 Time: 15:45:00 ------------------------------------------------------- Exception code: C0000005 ACCESS_VIOLATION Fault address: BFF7DC8A 02:00004C8A C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\KERNEL32.DLL Fault address: BFF7DC8A 02:00004C8A C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\KERNEL32.DLL Prev. code bytes: 2 50 56 E8 54 0 0 0 83 C6 40 8B 6 83 C0 14 Fault code bytes: 39 38 75 6 C7 0 FF FF FF FF 8B 6 83 C0 18 39 Registers: EAX:00000014 EBX:E7C5B160 ECX:E7F229D0 EDX:BFFC9490 ESI:81DAAE7C EDI:00000004 CS:EIP:0187:BFF7DC8A SS:ESP:018F:007CF45C EBP:00000000 DS:018F ES:018F FS:5087 GS:0000 Flags:00010206 ======================================================= Call stack: Stack 007CF45C 007D0048 Address Logical Function mapfile: Z:\o2\Objektiv2Light.map (empty 1) BFF7DC8A 0002:00004C8A C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\KERNEL32.DLL so i guess its an error with the Objektiv2Light.map file? can anyone help me overcome this error? Planck 1 Posted December 16, 2003 My Objektiv2Light.map is also an empty file, but Oxygen works fine here. Think it may just be a Windows problem, a damaged system file, possibly. You could always try re-insatlling O2 again. Planck Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
hammy 0 Posted December 17, 2003 well i reinstall o2 and it works fine, until i close it and reopen it again... Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
blackdog~ 0 Posted December 17, 2003 Try running a virus scanner, one time I had Win32.Pinfi and it corrupts a lot of EXE files, and that was the cause of it... (corruption of o2 exe) Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
hammy 0 Posted December 18, 2003 just ran a virus scan, no viruses on my computer Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
NZXSHADOWS 0 Posted December 19, 2003 O2 isnt the best on Win98 platform,But thats what i run it on myself.Maybe there something running in the Background that conflicts with o2.ctrl alt del and see whats all running. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
hammy 0 Posted December 20, 2003 ive ran o2 with win98 before. everything running in the background is Explorer and 2 other things windows uses Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Planck 1 Posted December 20, 2003 Only other thing I can think to suggest is to remove the Objektiv2light.map file........put it somewhere else meantime. Then run O2 and see if it re-creates the .map file anew. Planck Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
