kroky 1 Posted December 27, 2003 @Phaeden Impressive work!! Even very little lag...wow! One major bug I found: when I get in a UH-60 and start the engine - immediately the chopper is out of fuel. (It was full when I boarded.) So I cant make any move! Maybe this is because I'm playing with ECP mod. But even than it would be nice to be able to play WGL with ECP. Please fix this. BTW I tried a BAS chopper on GAIA and had no problems. Only with the WGL choppers. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
kroky 1 Posted December 27, 2003 Ehhm...experienced the same problem (UH-60 no fuel after starting engine) even without ECP! Is this a major bug? After flying and driving around the Island, I'm absolutely impressed what fantastic work has been done by you Phaeden!! And also the other guys who have done the units: Wow! The M16 is the best model I have seen in OFP so far! Comes very close to the M16 from America's Army. Experienced the same bug when exit the editor the anim is not playing, showing the same error message as described two posts above. I have the anim directory installed in addon folder. kroky 1 Posted December 27, 2003 One more comment on the fuel bug: I tried all other WGL choppers with the same result. The funniest thing is: After I disembark the chopper and reenter it the fuel is full. But then when I start the engine the same happens. kroky 1 Posted December 27, 2003 ok everbody now I found out what was wrong. I just had to wait until the whole list of checks is done then the choppers start normally. Ok this is kind of realistic. Only the fuel display is shocking right away when you try to start the engine. But when you know what's happening than it's ok. still have the bug when leaving the mission editor. tried to rename the addon list in the mission.sqm to the names that are used in the mod addon dir but still get the error message. phaeden 0 Posted December 29, 2003 Sorry about the long delay in the response, I have been on vacation (still am actually). The helos (as you have discovered) are using a "startup" script - it is being shortened (for those of you that don't like the 60 second delay). The anim movie is also fixed and will be patched in the next update. The problem was a result of the movie being made with WGL 2.0 vehicle names and then updating the vehicles and not the names for the movie. Again, it is fixed. On the movie point, I am now looking to redo the movie entirely (or allowing for multiple movies) and would like to have some movies from ppl that have (and like) the island. I spent now about 3 hours of driving around the island and taking some atmosphere from it. One thing I would have done different in Kamai City: It the old town a church is missing. In fact in the whole city there is no church! (Maybe intentionally) And something else: I changed the AGS addons coming with the pack with the ones I downloaded from www.of.fpp.pl from AGS directly. The gates and doors have sounds. When using the addons coming with your pack there is no sound. May I contribute one more suggestion that would make this island perfect: Please include signs (name plates) with the names of the cities when you enter the city or leave the city! Colossus 2 Posted December 31, 2003 This may be a nOOb question but i need help: The two shortcuts I got when I installed the wg_2.01_addpak dont work. ¨The driver or the network connection that the shortcut 'Op Flashpoint GOTY (WG AddOak).Ink' refers to is unavailable. Make sure that the disk is properly inserted or the network resoures is available, and then try again¨ 1. I dont have a moveble disk 2. My network is all fine What to do now ? I was worried about lag and even more so when i took my first look at the map(ssssooooooooooooo many trees) but I was pleasently surprised when i had no lag. Narescie ktos sie zkoncetrowal na tym zeby dodac do atmosfery w OFP (nie tylko units, vehicles i tak dalej tylko wlasnie budynki, porty.) Dziekuje bardzo za twoj wspanialy addon! edc 0 Posted January 1, 2004 No, all those do is send certain options to OFP when it starts.(/nosplash tells it to skip the splash screens when starting, and -mod=wgl tells it to use the mod in the wgl sub-directory of your OFP folder) Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
