Powerslide 0 Posted November 3, 2003 I am working on my Bell 412, when I go in it this is where my view is. As you can see the pilot is sitting in his seat, but the view comes from the center of the engine for some reason. Is there something I missed in the memory LOD? I have a viewpilot LOD, basically the copied 0.00 LOD just for testing for now.

Fab. 0 Posted November 3, 2003 I believe the internal view point is set by the pilot proxy, and nothing else (buy i may be wrong) But : Is it your external view when you're inside ? If yes, the external view point can be set in the config.cpp, by the following line : <table border="0" align="center" width="95%" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0"><tr><td>Code Sample </td></tr><tr><td id="CODE"> extCameraPosition[]={0,7,-19}; I cant tell you this is THE solution, i've never edited choppers... i've been doing tanks only so far hopefuly this is the answer of your problem

BraTTy 0 Posted November 4, 2003 Need to have a pilotview lod And you should use appropiate proxies to match your vehicle type (don't use cargo proxy for your driver) And you want a driverview vertex in memory lod
Powerslide 0 Posted November 4, 2003 No it wasn't the external view but it was a bad proxy name proxy:uh60pilot:02 but I had a uh60pilot:01 in there also
