killagee 0 Posted October 21, 2003 I know this is for OFP induced problems only, but I have spent the whole day searching "official" windows support sites and have had no replyies to my problem! Every 15 minutes after logging in to windows, whether playing ofp or another application I get a blue screen error, with a countdown to 100 and a restart. Says something like: "A problem has been detected, windows shut down to avoid dammage... IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR _EQUAL Then a whole bunch of hex addresss.... Performing Physical memory dump... The computer wont let me update my AMD Athlon BIOS to 1.0.0.6 either...... Sound familiar to anybody? The only things I have added to my computer recently has been addons... mr burns 133 Posted October 21, 2003 This IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL appeared on my system before my good old Hard Diks crashed, with it my whole system. I think it was caused by some kind of download manager that i used to DL many 2mb files to the poor old 5200 rpm (FAT32) hard drive. I killed it I really hope this does not necessarily mean that your HD will crash too
Ex-RoNiN 0 Posted October 21, 2003 Moving to off-topic Also make sure to check for heat/temperature problems, a lot of blue screens are caused when the CPU (usually an AMD) produces too much heat. Or have you deleted anything recently? You may have lost an important dll file.
