Unit action list

Recommended Posts

That's cool, but the action link is dead. Good link for the command references though. Thanks.

Edit - Found it.

I do have a few problems. The:

<table border="0" align="center" width="95%" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0"><tr><td>Code Sample </td></tr><tr><td id="CODE">

unitname action ["LIGHTON"]

Light on

unitname action ["LIGHTOFF"]

Light off

unitname action ["ENGINEON"]

Engine on

unitname action ["ENGINEOFF"]

Engine off

Actions will not work when I put them in. Its getting on my nerves. Can someone help me out here and point out why these wouldn't work?? someone told me that they are screwy at times so ya, I need help crazy_o.gif

Perhaps put a space between Engine and on?

unitname action ["engine on"]

Not sure, but you can give it a shot.

Okay, but how do you tell an unit to turn on the headlights of a car? "this lighton true" does not work.

If you do that, it automaticly shuts it back off.

You have to make a script like say..

<table border="0" align="center" width="95%" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0"><tr><td>Code Sample </td></tr><tr><td id="CODE">

#loop

unitname action ["LIGHTON"]

goto "loop"

Or something along those lines.

Sorry, doesn't seem to work. sad_o.gif

The reason why I'm asking is because in real life, drivers would turn on their headlights even during daytime in winter or in rainy weather.

This would make the traffic look better imho, especially on the winter islands. Could look like this (the Volvo's headlights are faked):

If anybody has another idea, please feel free to help.
