TwIce 0 Posted December 21, 2001 I'm running v1.40 but Alt-tab has never worked since I first bought the game pre-1.30. It will minimize OFP to the toolbar but I cannot restore it; I get a black screen and seemingly a hung PC. It's no biggie but does anyone have a solution? TwIce 0 Posted December 21, 2001 Hmmm, 128 MB not enough RAM to Alt-tab successfully?
RedRogue 0 Posted December 21, 2001 Please give more information CPU Motherboard and Drivers RAM Video Card and Drivers Sound Card and Drivers Netcard or Modem and Drivers Operational System - (WinME,98,95,98SE,2000,2000pro,XP,XPpro) DirectX - version Mode you are playing the game in (OpenGL, Direct3D) basically anything that seems semi- or possibly important, then maybe one of the tech gurus here could help you. Uh and this topic would also belong in the Troubleshooting section

The game will run much faster was well. The problem could also be with the video card -- you may want to try to update the driver.
Sandman 0 Posted December 21, 2001 I doubt it has anything to do with RAM...I had 128 before and I could Alt-Tab just fine... I doubt its a hardware issue...my friend and I have exactly the same computer and I can Alt-Tab but he cant. Maybe drivers of some sort. Video and/or sound most likely... datter 0 Posted December 21, 2001 Be sure your desktop resolution is the same as your game resolution, at least while playing... that will fix the problem. datter
RN Malboeuf 12 Posted December 21, 2001 the resolution one may be your answer if you run windows and ofp at different res some monitors and thier drivers have this problem get the latest Video and monitor drivers Memory and CPU speed could be a factor but thats hard to say we'll need those atleast and your Windows vers, right click my computer and hit ptoperties and post the windows version number
