I second that! Movement in urban terrain isnt something reserved to just CQB-units, ordinary army units do that stuff too. It would be nice with a ROE-mode that makes the AI take cover the best he sees fit by himself, not just a prone stance, flat on the ground. (Wasnt there something like that in the first demo? - "seek cover" or something like that?)
-
I also agree on the above - more ways to damage vehicles and structures. Maybe a chance to blow the turret off a tank or something? Being able to blow up a hole in a roof would be nice also... I like the "wind-blowing-in-the-trees"-effects that is in Ghost Recon for example. That would be nice in OFP2 (movement is always distractive...). (I know this isnt excactly on the topic, but what the hell, when wishing, why dont do it properly!

Vietnam or not, doesnt matter... The best thing now is that we have confirmation on OFP2 - that means we could start ranting about OFP3... Artillery and shooting from vehicles is the main issues I want to be fixed...

We are required to do it by law during peace time if we are not at special firing ranges. I ejected thousands of brass cartridges during my time as an enlisted man and no one ever said a word... Guess this law is taken more seriously at some regiments than at others. I never thought about it then, but come to think of it now, the pollution of the ground must be quite extensive...

The story reminds me of the old "pen-and-paper" RolePlayingGame we had in Sweden, called "Mutant" and "Mutant Chronicles"...getting out to the Zone and collect artifacts...it was cool. This game seems cool, nice graphics and a little atmosphere...maybe the next Half-Life?

I chose "MoL" over "TQFTHG"...but that differs from day-to-day...probably 2 of the best movies ever made...

Maybe I´m lucky... Where I work there are several ppl´s that play OFP. And we have this room where the production management sits...with 10 computers, linked and ready. So on the weekends we just meet up at work and play... Mostly we play Coop. Its great... "Selling" OFP to my work-friends wasnt hard at all...just showing some singleplayermissions and some of the vehicles. My experience tells me that its easier to "sell" this game to experienced players, not the average player. And if U have a passion for the army, weapons and tactics etc. and play computergames - then U are bound to come in contact with this game sooner or later, and then fall in love with it... . . . . ...[whisper]and then, later on...It takes over your life...telling you to do horrible things...you wont be able to resist...resistance is futile.....aaaaaargh[/whisper]

This raised a new question for me... "If U see the flash, it´s already too late..." Too late for what? Bedtime? Dinner?

I have a small LAN at my home and I´ve tried the "start-up-and-switch-cd"-procedure on my computers...and it didnt work (I used the same cd-key on all installs)...It just said "remember, original copy doesnt fade" (or something like that) and I guess that means the fadesystem kicked in). I dont know what the cd-key is used for, but doesnt the game check if another, similar cd-key is in use in the same multiplayersession, and if so - kick in the "fade"?? Otherwise, whats the cd-key for??
