I have a question about US BDU pants. Do all of them have a reinforced seat?

Planning on crapping yourself in the heat of an airsoft battle? wink_o.gif Kidding man.

I have 100% all cotton ones and the seat and the knees are pretty well reinforced.

nope. I want some pants without a reinforced seat. tounge_o.gif

looks like I have to look for some older stuff. What kind of pants were used before the US forces had the new BDU. they look kind of wide in the movies. as if the soldiers were issued the wrong size... biggrin_o.gif

BTW airsoft is illegal in Germany. ;)

I believe they used the OG-107 fatigue pants in temperate enviornments. I think they were used up to the early 80's. There /was/ a interim woodland camo pattern (based on the Vietnam-Era ERDL camo) that preceded the woodland pattern that we are familiar with no a days. Rip stop BDUs were introduced in 1987-8.

ROFL those boots are something for people who listen to Gothic Metal. biggrin_o.gif

ah yes Ranger Shop even has the boots, but they only have BDU pants. And the boots aren't as cheap as the ones on ebay. ;)

What do you think about M65 pants? Weren't they worn over the uniform?

that's the only picture I could find. biggrin_o.gif

m65_hose.jpg

looks kinda goofy tounge_o.gif

one question about Jungle boots: Do they usually have a steel cap to protect the toes, or does it depend on the manufacturer?

well , i have pants looking exactly like that , i quite like them , they look nice over everyday shoes , and they looks quite mean when put into the combat boots

about the french jungle boots : they don't have steel caps , and steel caps are optionnal and reserved to officers on normal french leather combat boots
