havocsquad 0 Posted August 26, 2003 Hey, I was wondering if NAA_Us_Marine and Deadsoldier would re-release the F-15E to utilize the compression now in new addon pbo files, and impliment the countermeasure system or put ECM on it. Everything is fine about it as far as design, I just would like to reduce the missile hit probability to about 25 to 35% chance of a hit from of those stupid shoulder-fired SAM's into my wonderful F-15E. Let me know what you two decide on or have already decided. Later. Havoc.
edc 0 Posted August 26, 2003 Quote[/b] ]utilize the compression now in new addon pbo files Just un-pbo it with UnPBO(I'm sure its at OFPEC), and re-pbo it w/ MakePBO(again, probably at OFPEC). Presto! A smaller pbo file!
NAA_Us_Marine 0 Posted August 26, 2003 the f15e is compressed fully with make pbo and it is binerized cant get any more compressed then that. thats off topic though.
reconmercs 0 Posted August 26, 2003 there are NO mig-29s in U.S. as aggressors thas why units travel to germany to train against them. I think like in the 80's we had a couple 23's and other early model migs that were gained through various back channels for studying purposes. I think someone asked about aggressor squadrons, yeah they still exist the air force uses them in a MUCH smaller scale red flag type exercises last I checked flying F16s the corps and navy use F-5's and F18's as aggressors..oh the army does have a couple of former soviet bloc and iraqi Mil- type helicopters that are attached to opfor units... Hit_Sqd_Maximus 0 Posted November 18, 2003 Well they are used by a specialist squadron (which uses other 'OPFOR' aircraft and equipment, like MI-17s,MI-24s,various SAM systems) for ground instructional training and basically to familiarize US crews with OPFOR equipment  When I was in Nevada I saw a Russian helocopter flying around a base on highway 5 (iirc) with some blackhawks. I think it was an Mi-8? I took some pictures of the base, but I cant find the camera I took those pictures on.
