@cero 0 Posted August 24, 2003 We will take the Serb scheme into consideration. the difference between Fulcrum and Mikoyan is, Fulcrum is the NATO codename for the MiG and Mikoyan is the Russian company who developed the MiG. Thanks for the consideration. And yeah, as soon as you mentioned about the names I remembered. I readed this book call "No escape zone" and the author mentioned in there. Thanks. GoOB 0 Posted August 24, 2003 Holy cow! That screenshot looks like something out of LOMAC, the textures are... Well one of the nicest texturing jobs I have ever seen! But if I could squeeze a small request in it would be this: Please please oh pretty please make new pilot models, decked out like fighter pilots generally are. Velocity suits, helmet with glare protection visors. And the oxygen masks. I know in OFP you won't be doing much high altitude flying but it will look so damn good. And perhaps an option to take the oxygen masks on/off. Sorry if I got a bit carried away, but this is the most promising fixed wing addon I have seen in quite some time. NAA_Us_Marine 0 Posted August 24, 2003 Well yes we do plan to make a new pilot model. and yeah it has 170 rounds the max the MiG-29 can carry.
SILESIAN 0 Posted August 25, 2003 It's beautiful. The Czech haven't got any Mig29. They changed(barter) all their Migs into Polish choppers PZL Sokol. Now the Polish Air Force use all ex-Czech Mig29. Quote[/b] ]NAA_Us_Marine Posted on Aug. 24 2003,18:39 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- . We will be making a German mig that will be on the west side and a Russian mig that will be on the east. The Germans havent got any Mig29 too. The German gouvernment plane use as a airfighter only the Eurofighters and retired all their Migs29 in this year. The Polish Air Force use all ex-German Mig29 too. Poland have own Mig29 too of course ( it's the most in the west). In the NATO only Poland and Hungary have Migs29 ( Slovakia isn't a member of the NATO). Please do it in a Polish version to - it's a real west side. http://www.fulcrum.prv.pl/ Please again.
NAA_Us_Marine 0 Posted August 25, 2003 you dont think we know that? we are basing these off the previous countries that owned them. it depends on what we choose.
Shashman 0 Posted August 25, 2003 One more thing, is many differences between the Fulcrum and the Mikoyan? Mikoyan-Gurevitch (now MIG-MAPO) is the name of the company which designed and build the MiG-29 Fulcrum (like Lockheed Martin,Boeing, Sukhoi,Beriev,etc...) Cpt. Bazikian-5thSFG- 0 Posted August 25, 2003 well, actually.... No I didn't, but I do know that there are several Russian airbases and such in Armenia... Exspecially before the break-up of the Soviet Union, when Armenia was basically a satellite state of the USSR... BTW: who's that hot Air force chick in your sig from T3? Guest DKM-jaguar Posted August 25, 2003 This is looking from the screen shot to be an amazing peice of work, I look forward to playing with this. Although fast jets are not suited particuarly well to ofp, I think that quality of this sort makes up for this, and as there is already an amazing F15 (by DeadSoldier I beleive), the addon will have a counterpart with many mission possibilities. Nice work, and the MIG-29 is one of my favourite aircraft

SILESIAN 0 Posted August 25, 2003 you dont think we know that? we are basing these off the previous countries that owned them. it depends on what we choose. Inform you about this fact wasn't my intention, I only ask you for Polish version because it's the west country which uses the most copies of this plane. The Czech's haven't got now Migs, because these planes were too expensive for this small country. Shashman 0 Posted August 25, 2003 Well they are used by a specialist squadron (which uses other 'OPFOR' aircraft and equipment, like MI-17s,MI-24s,various SAM systems) for ground instructional training and basically to familiarize US crews with OPFOR equipment
