Pretty good stuff Drill Sergeant, look forward to them. Wish we had some good US Army Special Forces, but in the mean time I converted BAS Covert Rangers into Special Forces, along with the tab and patch on them ;).

Is the MP5A3 silencer capable? It's not a sniper rifle, thats fore sure...although maybe you mean it's with a sniper scope?

No, as far as I know, MP5A3 is not silencer/suppressor capable, but MP5-N is. MP5 Navy models have threaded barrels and can be used with or without an optional wet technology stainless steel sound suppressor.

As far as I know, all MP5's are supressor capable. I know for a fact that there are QD supressors for both the "3-lug" stle flashhider, and the more popular "Navy" style.

Also, instead of making a "M4 Sniper Rifle", how about a Mk11? Here's the info

Good luck with your project!

If this is some kind of a joke? mad_o.gif Because I don't get it.

The following info - "MP5 Navy models have threaded barrels and can be used with or without an optional wet technology stainless steel sound suppressor." - I found on official Heckler & Koch homepage (http://www.heckler-koch.de/html....ex.html).

Actualy it was late here where I posted and that SR25 is similar to what I made. I know that the SR25 exists but The sniper rifles are with the eceptoin of my M40 are special aplication. rock.gif (I forgot to make a 82a1 "light fifty".)

All MP5s are capeabl of useing scilencers with the eception of the MP5SD is has a scilencer that it is part of the weapon and can not be removed.

mp5sd_r3_c2.gif

I for got to add to the list that the M29 "Saber" with a scilencer was added.

Shte MP5 sniper rifle has a lenghtened barrel and slightly longer stock. it's for close range work. the M4 mod 25 (Sniper rifle Sepcial aplication.) Is for medium range work and the M4 bolt action is for longe range. The 8281 light fifty is for LRHTI.

(Long range hard target inderdiction)

P.S. This is your last chance before I finish this to put in your two cents on any weapons you would like to be release with this. What's on your wish list?

so are you sure the A3 is silencer capable? I have an aisroft version, and I've been informed many times that it isn't supposed to have a silencer on it. The muzzle looks too weird for it, anyway. smile_o.gif

BTW, Andraz - I think most people would recognize that as a joke, since most weapons such as the M4 and the MP5 are capable of having pretty much hundreds of accessories and upgrades. smile_o.gif

Well who is telling you that?

I really don't see what makes the a3s muzzel so wierd.

mp5a3_2_r3_c2.gif

The weapons will be JAM compatible.(For ones that are coded into JAM)

the M4 and MP5 ARE NOT SNIPER RIFLES. They are rapid fire assault weapons used by spotters for close quarter engagments. They have no where near the range that a true sniper rifle has and accuracy of a true sniper rifle. I would not list the M4 and MP5 as a "sniper rifle" unless you want to look lke a complete fool.

Does the word CLOSE RANGE. Mean anything to you?

These aren't for pick bird out of trees at 700m these are fore close range work in a city where you rarely get 100m away.

I also have included a M40 and A Barett 82a1. So go ahead and flame way. I really don't care. I have heard worse.

The SR25 is a modified version of the M16 and M4 so do not tell me they cannot be made into sniper rifles. And alot of the SR25s I have seen are using .22 long. rock.gif

So now all Mp5 and M4s need to and will be removed that leaves all of you with only a FNmag58, MArk 23, 40, and a Barrett light fifty. Or mabe I should just quit I have taken enogh crap in the comunity already.

So say what you want moderators do what you want I don't care.

*Edit added*

It really doesn't hurt any more to what people say to me.

So go ahead. Let's hear the worst you got nothing shocks me any more.

Erm, no, the SR-25 is based on the AR-10, which was actually made well before the original AR-15, it has a totally different receiver, different foregrip and completely different barrel, the nearest thing to a M4 sniper rifle is the M4A1 SPR, based on a M16A1 lower and a new upper receiver, apparently is as accurate as a M24 out to 800m (using a heavier than normal bullet), either that or a SR-15 match rifle, but i dont think there are any military forces that use this rifle.

How about a close-up picture of the OHG Mod 0 ?  smile_o.gif

Actually its very likely a Navy designation, they designate with Mk # Mod #, ie:

Mk 43 Mod 0 (M60)

Mk 48 Mod 0 (New SEAL machine gun, upscaled M249 made to use the 7.62x51 bullet, replacing the Mk 43)

Mk 46 Mod 0 (SEAL M249)

And i believe the SOCOM is:

Mk 23 Mod 0

OHG was the name of the project of its development i believe, the Offensive Hand Gun (or something similar), where it battled against a Colt version.

Edit: http://world.guns.ru/handguns/hg12-e.htm

Quote[/b] ]This handgun was developed under request from US SOCOM (Special Operations Command) and entered the competition with Colt for OHWS - Offensive Handgun Weapon System - firt offensive handgun for US Military since the adoption of the Colt M1911 Govt.

HK design won the trials, and the handgun was adopted under the designation of Mk.23. It is based on HK's successful USP Tactical design, being slightly larger and heavier. Mk.23 is a recoil operated, locked breech handgun that utilized modified Browning-style locking wia extraction port. Trigger is Double-Action with safety and decocker levers. Barrel is threaded to accept silencers (manufactured for US Govt. by Knight's Manufacturing, USA). Frame is made from high strenght polymer with stell inserts, under the barrel frame has integral rails for mounting different laser aiming devices and tactical flashlights. Sights are dovetailed and ajustable. The gun is quite heavy, and some US SpecOps units preferred to use HK's USP Tactical instead of Mk.23, mostly due to USPs' smaller size and weight.
