Command line: "G:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Arma Reforger\ArmaReforgerSteam.exe" -addonsDir "G:\Mods" -addonDownloadDir "G:\Mods" -addonTempDir "G:\Mods"

  • This is here because my OS and Arma Reforger + the mods I have loaded are on separate drives and I was having issues with the automatic writing directory of Mod downloads from within the game client.

OS: Windows
CPU: AuthenticAMD: AMD Ryzen 9 5900X 12-Core Processor
RAM: 32673 MB
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070
VRAM: 12011MB
GPU Driver: 566.36 [ 3.12.2024 (20 days) ]

  • This is the readback I consistently get and am unable to troubleshoot this through uninstall/reinstalls and common troubleshoot methods (like disabling overlays) I've seen on forums.

_____

I have been receiving consistent crashes after loading into community servers that have mods loaded. I have had no issue with this in prior weeks and it has really only started happening since a week or so after the last update (PlayStation launch one), it could be on the mod owners; however, I really don't know what else I can do with my knowledge and the responses on forums that would point towards this. On top of these servers being consistently full it doesn't seem to be the mod packages that are the issue.

If it is because my OS and game drive are on two separate drives, which is the one thing I have that is definitely abnormal, I don't think I can play on public servers... so that would suck. I specifically have a drive dedicated to my OS and base applications so I don't have drives available to even configure Arma Reforger to be compatible with that necessity.

Any solutions or assistance that I can try I would appreciate. I have logs ready, if needed.

You can also try doing a verify integrity of cache on steam to make sure something in the game itself isn't corrupted.

Hello, I've also been getting a random crash as well with the same crash report. I've tried everything under the sun I can think of to do.

Changing power settings to performance.

Turning off RTX Dynamic Lighting.

Verifying Integrity of cache of Steam.

Disabling all overlays that I would have.

Uninstalling and reinstalling drivers.

Uninstalling and reinstalling the game.

Deleted the mods folder in its entirety.

Turned off multithreading as recommended by some forums.

Turned off any boosting/AI controlled OC to the CPU.

Turned off XML profiles.

Set settings to lowest setting. Also set settings to High instead of Ultra since I've seen in games like Kingdom Come Deliverance where the games engine can't handle the ultra setting on the game and if you max out draw distances.. It just causes headaches and similar crashes so applied that logic here because why not.

I'm kinda at my wits end, trying to play a game, and it's so random I can't associate it with any certain source causing it. Even in singleplayer without mods.

It could happen as you're respawning at a FOB, or it could happen in the midst of a firefight when everythings going on. It's happened when I was a passenger in a vehicle just riding along.

If anyone comes up with a solution or if Bohemia finally fixes this it would be great appreciated.
