philcommando 0 Posted August 5, 2003 thanks for the responses. der bastler,EiZei, Crippler :- thanks for the offer to host the addon........er....dont get your hopes too high, this addon is nothing much other than purely an experimental and low quality project on making Ai more interactive with objects rather than stop just outside the cave or building with some other addons, helpful perhaps for single players managing an AI team. Sinister:- 1. its possible to set up anything on the hill top and sides with the setpos command. One thing i noticed about BIS models are that for example if u cant setpos a West camo net on top of hill, u would be able to setpos the similar object but from Empty>object class or vice versa...strange. 2. you can place anything within the interior of objects with no problem without any need for any command, as my sample test preview has shown. Sorry about the streetlamp addon, i forgot that it was an unofficial addon, but it would not hamper anything except that at night u wont see the addon. Its just a sample placement to hide and use the lightsource. 3. It cannot be placed in Visitor as it is not binarised. As usual, i dont bin my works so that anyone can look at the model and use it as a base or a wacky idea to further improve their models. There is still very much to improve upon, but i guess the first few hurdles to create AI interactive structures had been crossed. What the community can do, i believe and hope that BIS can do better for OFP2, afterall they have the engine sourcecode. Have fun!
