Bob hope dead!

I have a bunch of his old USO tour skits. They were hilarious.

My kids just watched Hope's "The Princess and The Pirate" the other day.

Hope's movies were some of my favorite Sunday afternoon reruns when I was a child.

When I think of how much he achieved in his life in making people happy and the fact that he lived what appears to be a happy fullfilling life to the ripe old age of 100, I prefer a smile_o.gif

And a model of fidelity in a place where quickie weddings are invariably followed by quickie divorces.

He and his wife were married for 69 years.

Rest in peace, Mr Hope

For any that are interested, Yesterday USA sometimes plays Bob Hope shows, and USO shows. Its a radio webcast station that plays radio shows from the early days (like "The Shadow", Vincent Price shows, Sherlock Holmes...etc.etc.)

For those interested here is the link address to them:

Very sad - Bob was a very funny guy, one of the few comedians of his era that I still found funny today.

Still, 100 is a long life by anyone's standards.

RIP Mr. Hope, you were a true entertainer...
