Ofp co op hobbyists, not competitors

Recommended Posts

Who in this forum is a co op hobbyist, vs. the team competitor. We are the ones who form co op clans so we can get together and play really cool missions. I feel the need for a clan who doesn't train, we just edit our own missions and play them. What's the use of training if you know the keys and have had the game long enough to know? If you see that makes sense you might want to start a clan with me in private or just join delta force in private. Where are the co op hobbyists>? Free agents speak up. If there's enough free agents ill leave delta force and form a hobbyist clan. We don't need no stinking training.

I have only been in one OFP squad, and they crashed and burned pretty soon after me joining (USMC) Now I play mostly co-op arranged by Ddroid, co-op is what OFP does best in multiplayer. But there is really no need for a "co-op clan" just start a nice channel on IRC were people can get together and decide who is hosting, and what mission to play etc.

SES, Rebel, Zeus or Kyllikki among others focus mainly on coop. Not all have public servers, and not all play coop exclusively, but guests are usually welcome, and you can often have a game with 20+ players. For most of these servers you need quite a bunch of addons, so check their website for information on that (and for the server passwords).

We have regular training sessions, although we play all sorts of missions...still...coops are my favorite missions for a nice relaxed evening wink_o.gif

I am almost pure coop...I play a few adversarial missions, but 95% coop.

The hardest thing asbout playing coop is finding dedicated people who will take missions seriously...ideally for me it is when we play LAN, with guys I know...

What you want to do is stay whenever someone isn't taking it seriously. That's what I do. I stay and keep playing. I think one of the hardest things to do right now is find inspiration for a four or six man co op that is realistic. I mean, what operations do you know only have four or six men?

Well, that's about the number of guys we play with...

Either missions can be padded out with AI and additional AI squads for large operations, but I prefer "spec op" type missions for a small squad - infiltrate, assassinate, sabotage, gather intel etc.

The most we ever had was 11 players on a LAN at my friends home/office...and that was pretty sweet for some larger missions...

SES play 98% Coops for 4-36 people, busiest coop server I think. We are DEFINATLEY NOT seroius !!! Well only about having fun and good teamwork in missions.

Call in 24/7 we have great connection to US and Europe, less than 120 ping unless your West Coast US or your connection sux.

server pass = ses
