Dauragon 0 Posted July 6, 2003 This is very weird as a civilian unit with a gun will start shooting an East unit, and if you are civilian East shows green which means allies and West red, enemies, why dont they shoot west instead of east, or why is west green instead of red? kegetys 2 Posted July 6, 2003 East shows up red for me when playing as civilian... and west green.
GoOB 0 Posted July 6, 2003 Try changing "Resistance friendly to" that usually works for me. For instance I had a few Russians running around a town with civilians in it. When Resistance was set to be friendly to west, they went prone. When Resistance was set friendly to east they just stood in their normal "safe" mode. With the Ruskies running around. Milkman 1 Posted July 7, 2003 I have "Resistance friendly to west" but when player unit is civy in mission editor, all west appear as enemies. I have had that problem since 1.

edc 0 Posted July 12, 2003 Yeah, I've noticed this too, but I believe they only actually shoot at whoever the enemy(ies) to Resistance is.
One 0 Posted July 14, 2003 it seems to me when I mess around in the editor, the civilian side acts exactly as the resistance side, where you have to select what they are friendly too. Its kindof a rip offbecause cause all the civs are is resistance with different clothes, not really an independant side at all p.s. is this a bug? can it be fixed? has this problem ever been adressed by bis before?
