Lupus-WD- 0 Posted July 1, 2003 it's not a new items selection, they have just replaced the older rc1 version with the newer rc2. File is named OFrP_Air_V1.0RC2.zip and it is also linked in the "last added files" section.
Lupus-WD- 0 Posted July 1, 2003 One bug i had noticed some times ago and that i forgot to tell about : It makes the helos quite easier to land or to camouflage... maybe too easy ;P Great addons tho... definitely still some of my favorite ones !

Too many helos have this bug but NOT all of them... As i believe that the OFrP team is willing to do as much realism as possible [as long as it doesnt hurt gameplay] i thought i had to point this bug out... [amongst the helos with this bug or similar : hind, v80, martin's bell 47... some without the bug : uh60, oh58, rah66, bass littlebird. Lupus-WD- 0 Posted July 2, 2003 EVERY STANDARD BIS HELO HAS THIS. including all BAS addons, plz point me in the direction to a helo that actually clips objects As i stated, TOO MANY helos have that bug, i hadnt especially tested again which had it or not, now i tested them again, and it seems that all the bis helos have it except for the uh60 which looks like it has something mixed as if the geometry lod of the body is larger, but i am not sure, it is not very interesting at this point. It seems that ALL BAS HELO's blades CLIP/COLLID with objects except for the MH47E. Now what's your point contradicting for the sake of contradiction? If there are actually helos that dont show that immaterial blades bug it means it is possible and it's even better like that, are you trying to tell us that you prefer your hello with no collision Now for my pointing you in the direction to a helo that actually clips objects : i first hover the chopper near the tree [or bridge pillar for instance] then slowly strafe towards the obstacle, and what happens ? CONTACT, i cannot go closer to the object unlike the photo of the french choppers shown above. now, if i fly normally along a road and the blades hit a tree or something i have a problem... and that's the closer to what we would expect with a chopper in ofp, at least i would rather have all the choppers do that than the other way and i have talked to some ppl who agree with that. miles teg 1 Posted July 2, 2003 Eh... that bug doesn't bother be none. Most people crash into trees enough as it is. No need to make flying between trees and stuff any more difficult. Chris G. aka-Miles Teg<GD>
