USSoldier11B 0 Posted June 3, 2003 Hey fellas, it's sure been a while since I've been around these parts. Just wanted to see how things are going in the lives of all my old commrades. Me, well I'm doing fine I guess. I started college about 6 months ago...finally after putting it off for almost three years. Got promoted, got some medals, got a service stripe. Missed the deployment to Afghanistan due to waiting eight months for my security clearance to go through. Almost go married. (thank God that didn't happen) Ummm....caught mono, got really sick for like 3 months...bought some new guns. (Eat your hearts out my grumpy European friends) I suppose that's about it. ralphwiggum 6 Posted June 3, 2003 glad to see you back 11B well, ikonBoard got upgraded, forum got a bit more organized, some got banned, some new great members came in, I finally got some handguns, several user-initiated agenda was starting in mod community, and the typical political war we have here in OT. there's been OFP2 announcements and some infos and discussions here and there, so have fun reading them out. Touche` I was going to put off university for a year to head into Afghanistan, but they ended up taking very few reservists, contrary to what they told me when I put my name in for a tour. Oh well. Yes I remeber the harsh criticism I received for predicting the war in Iraq let's see...umm...about 16 months ago. The signs were all there...why the hell else would the stop loss the entire Colorado National Guard field artillery? Of course I did have insider info, however vague it was by the time it got to my echelon of the intelligence community. Thanks for pointing that one out.
