Trinity island version 1.2 is out !

I also made a little mission with Trinity, but I find it lags a lot, I think 'cause of all the lights..MeH

I have that AGS Industrial Pack, its amazing smile.gif I love the huge hangers with the opening doors smile.gif really handy

There is but it's a big pain in the ass. You have to repath every texture in the packs....that well over 15000 paths to change. A bit much to ask just so your addons folder isn't junked up wink.gif

Get the addonmanager by DKMRastavovich or use mod folders (see AvonLady's FAQ).

Nice addition. The only minor complaint is the colour scheme on the harbour is a bit bright for OFP. Puts me more in mind of Commanche Hokum. Still nice though.

Hope he fixed the "fording" (too deep parts where you either drown or you have to shift and move for ages until you get the vehicle out of the water sad_o.gif )

But this new one looks very nice from what I can see of it smile_o.gif

Great! I already liked the first versions, I hope this one's even better! Can't DL right now, but, where can I find a map of the island?

BTW, what is its size (12kmx12km ?)

Don't forget to give Date and Time of Day as well.....the tides really affect Trinity (in a good way I think)  smile_o.gif

I'm not sure (I'm not on my OFP PC and won't be for a coupla months) but I remember the kinda land bridge from the airport to the mainland, well that ford was too deep and if u tried to go through it with a bike,you'd drown sad_o.gif It must have been at around 1200.

There were also a few more places.

Anyone care to give the man the coords as I can't do it?

The area around Ee-Ei72 to Ee-Ei76, and Aj-Bf47 to Aj-Bf50.

And also Ei-Fb10 to Ei-Fb12

You could check how high the tide water is when you are setting month July.. Dec-Jan is the lowest..

I belive that the Timberisland had the same thing, to low so the water came up sometimes....

Maybe set the ground higher or create a bridge? where all these are...

Thanks for the co-ords Mellis, iv'e just checked these and i have already amended them apart from bf-47, so thanks for the feedback.

as Leone aready pointed out time of day/year affects how passible these areas are. but the new version of trinity should

make them passible most of the year.

Simple rule of thumb is that if it is 5.0m above sea level, it will be above the water at all times of the year. Anything below that will be covered in water at some point during the year smile_o.gif

How about make a couple a extra bridges, one from Timberland to Statton Island, and one from Statton Island to "Trinity".. ? Easy to driver to the islands, for example in CTI missions..  wink_o.gif

i've lowerd the sea level so you can cross on foot/vehicle. that's from Timberland to Statton & from Statton to Trinity.

I have placed two bridges on Statton, one at each end.

if its so low then maybe when time is set on July the water will be so high so you will die and vehicle will be destroyed..

I'll try & come to an even balance. it could be used in a positve way ie. a player has a certain amount of time to complete a task before high tide sets in. if the task isn't completed in time he will have lost his escape route etc. however, i'll try different times of the day/year to make sure its not too extreme.

I LOVE this island. Ever since 1.2 was released I haven't used another island. Hope valley is SWEET (for ambushes ect).

Timberland is a VERY nice little Island. The beach to the north is great a great landing site for large assaults.

Some parts of the island are just so beautiful, you almost feel guilty when fighting there.

Gotta agree, its my faviourate island by far, Timberland is a good all round island just on its own, without the rest of the map biggrin_o.gif

Do you (Buggs) have an accurate release date for v2? Last i heard it would be released "soon" (which to me means no one has a clue tounge_o.gif )
