Looks very nice, if I may ask what engine sound will it use? T72 T55 or custom? Will it be amphibious like the pic shows?

And also I know it's way late but your Humvees are cool and helped me out allot with making armed convoys. smile.gif

Probably custom sound and yes it will be amphibious if I manage to fix the bug :-/. Thanks for your comments wink.gif

The T62 isn't amphibious. I could cross rivers underwater by using a snorkeling kit, but you would need special models and scripting to implement that.

Not that likely to need it in a desert anyway.

I would say to release it if its "ready" and get the feedback from people who try it out.

Then you'll really know what needs fixing up.

If you want honesty, from looking at the pics...the textures look low rez, bland, and unfinished.

Compare it to Sigma's Iraqi T-72 side by side to see what I mean.

Comments?...

1. Who the f..k made it amphibious?

2. There was a T-62/64 pack mentioned in RSS forum, as a far project, hmm... maybe it would be better idea to wait for them? :]

RSS forum? Anyway, why wait for someone else's tank? I don't quite see the logic of that....

Well T62 is older (much older) than an abrams anyway. And yes the T62 CAN BE AMPHIBIOUS. Tell me what you see on this picture

Isnt it a T62 that is in the water tounge.gif

That picture shows exactly that T-62 is NOT amphibious. And so - it must have some special preparations done (ie. all this long stuff over a turret) to cross the river driving on the bottom of it.

Red Star Studios forum...

Why to wait? Because it is better when proffessionals are doing some things. :]

Proffessional = guy who will surely not make T-62 amphibious :]

It is something like a choice... to make an OT-62 for my mod OR to wait till Marfy will finish his one.

The other thing that makes it worth to wait - or at least to cooperate in some work - is that it is always better to have one T-62 pack instead of 10, each different.

Look at the current situation with M109... we've got one your's, one SwissMod's, one Hawk's and one DKM's. Is it fun for addonusers? I'm shure, that not... sad.gif

OR you can wait for both biggrin.gif ...seriously guys ur t62 looks great. Do not let us put u off doing it. There is still loads to do for us to release it so while time goes on ill be happy to ride urs around.

T62 is NOT amphibious like all tanks. However LIKE some tanks it can cross over shallow waters (up to 4 meter i think but not sure) using special snorkle for the engine (othervise the exaust fumes won't be able to escape). Now this can be done with some clever scripting but what exactly are you going to cross with a t62 in OFP? To summarise: IT CANNOT SWIM, IT CAN RIDE OVER THE BOTTOM OF THE SHALLOW PARTS.

See my earlier post regarding schnorkelling kit.

Amphibious= floats/swims.

Not amphipious= sinks like a... Main Battle Tank, and crew drowns unless schnorkelling kit available.

I did not wanted to mean that I want one of the teams to abandon their project... I just mean, that it would be really better either to cooperate on it or... abandon one of the project - the less perispective one. Why? As I explained - nobody feels happy having multiple editions of the same addon... and now... we will have at least 2 T-62 packs, 3 MLRS packs, etc... Think about it...

Who knows we might use soem scripting wink.gif. And we can wait for yours too but we got a T62 to finish for the OPGWCv1.0 coming soon. ...

It can take over 8 hours to install the Snorkel Kit. Unless you have an action that speeds up the game until 8 hours pass when you enable the "snorkel" feature, it would be pretty unrealistic.

Theres no prob having multiple addons(T-62's for example) up to a point.

It's when you have 15 different M-16's that it's a problem.
