sanctuary 19 Posted April 17, 2003 I highly doubt it , for my part I never have bought PC upgrade or new system for just some game , so i do not plan to buy one for OFP 2 (as i think that OFP2 will certainly be more than unplayable on my current system) So OFP 1 will continue to have a long existence on my hard drive, as Daggerfall and Master of Orion 2 always have . Col. Kurtz 0 Posted April 18, 2003 Unless I have lots of hard drive space or OFP2 is crap (not very likely) I think the day I get OFP2 will be the day that my OFP1 days will mainly be over. It sounds like theres a chance that OFP1 addons will be backward compatible with OFP2 so I don't need to have OFP1 around to play until a new generation of addons come out and with a mission builder in OFP I think I will be able to keep myself well occupied without OFP1. I might play OFP1 once in a while for laughs. To laugh at the vehicles and buildings that deflated when destroyed, laugh at the indestructable forests, laugh at people waving there hands in the air before appearing inside a vehicle, laugh at A-10s been taken out by rifle bullets etc. etc. I've had a great time with OFP1 and will probably have a great time for another year and a half until OFP2 comes out, but I hope I have an even better time with OFP2.
