NICE WORK! 2 things I would love to see in the future of this addon... 1) the controlling soldier using some sort of control pannel field computer 2) a 2nd version which is either slightly different in model or in skin to be used by the opposing force for multiplay so as to be able to shoot down the "bad guys" drone with small arms fire! bn880 5 Posted April 18, 2003 Allright, I think the number displayed for the zoom amount should be a zoom factor not slider amount. So 2x 4x etc, not 0.1234. Also, if you say Up Down etc. Don't say Caméra in the same line, either English or not. Please get rid of the ms and us display, there is no point for it and it wastes cpu time. bn880 5 Posted April 18, 2003 Allright, you can get Night Vision simply by turning on your NV on the soldier. It's not bad. THe color of the controls is terrible at night like KeyCat says. Also, how about another slider or text field which acts as a compass? You can get the heading of the sucker and show it on the dialog so we know where it's pointing. Hope you like the ideas. You already get the heading in degrees (and map coordinates) above the "drift" slider. Some more ideas I'm tossing out.... - What about some random RF interferance noise that dissrupt the view for a few seconds (just like Vecktorbosons nice satellite script)? - AI infantry should engage it with small arms fire (but it shouldn't show up on emeny helicopter/BMP/tanks radar)? - IMO this one shouldn't be to easy to fly/operate so maybe some random drift/descent to simulate wind gusts (important that this isn't overdone)? - Limited operation time and maybe range? I love it....One thing though.... on the camera rotation a "reset" button would be nice too...so then you can just watch the direction you are heading.... I need to work on my UAV too..and get it out..... i still have quite a bit of scripting left.....can't wait to see the final version of this!!! good job!!!! Will do test with a direction slider, it can be useful direction + drift... Second texture for opposite camp: will ask to Vlad Random effects, I'm working on wind effects, but for the moment I can't say if there is wind in OFP, but there is air effect relates to the wheigt and size, but I'm not physician, and it's hard for me, maybe something like that. A version with a laserdesignator for the arty scripts for example. The DragonWarrior is not armed, but with the scripts, we can do uav armed. Thx again for ideas, and thx for like it. bn880 5 Posted April 18, 2003 He's got the compass there basically, left of the coordinates. Although it does specify N, NE, S etc. it's a heading I should say. Uiox, try to remove the milliseconds and microseconds display, it's really overdoing it and uses much CPU time to update the field so often. For an Russian version, Scorpio have a modele of a similar UAV for russian side... I ask him for that. For AI problem, I try to correct that.
