Sjb special reaction team - done

Hey Jackal I just caught something new. The chamber on the mp5-sd is on the wrong side. Just thought i'd let you know. Can't wait for your re-release.

By the way, an associate of mine is working on a couple of missions (MP-CTF and CO-OP) which will be released some time after the re-release of the pack.

im not trying to demand anyhting

and i believe ur stressed out trying to work on the rerelease

but it seems the ai of the units are not good

most of them die doig a front on attack

i use move or destroy waypoint against 8 or 9 men with the sjb units having 12 and most of them die probably 4 or 3 are left

just wondering if ur going to improve their ai

if not they are still a good pack of units

you could speek to DKM mod about switching the ejection side of the shalls as they have done it with a PSG1.

AI vs AI battles seem to work ok smile.gif

I know how to change the ejection of the shells, its just a matter of moving two of the points in the MEMORY L.O.D.

Well, I have some good news, version 1.1 is finally complete and has been released.

Changes/Fixes in this version:

- M24 Texture on dial was missing - FIXED

- ACOG Scope on M24 was white due to wrongly mapped textures - FIXED

- Reflex sight's zoom was weird and used the ACOG Optic instead of the actual AIMPOINT one used by the M14 - FIXED

- A few weapon sounds - TWEAKED.

- The huge error of wrongly mapped textures that caused users to suffer from several white LODs on all of the woodland units. - FIXED (Caused by a '/' instead of a '\' in the texture path and a completely wrong path altogether).

- M82A1 Rate of Fire (R.O.F.) reduced. I.E. Made slower

- M16A2 Silenced Briefing Picture Fixed.

- Correct class names added to the readme files.

The updated UNITS FILE can be found at

http://sjb.ofprc.net/SRT2/Downloads/Files/1_1/SJB_SRT2_UNITS_1.1.CAB (11.2MB .CAB File), and the updated WEAPONS FILES can be found at http://sjb.ofprc.net/SRT2/Downloads/Files/1_1/SJB_SRT2_WEAPONS_1.1.CAB (8.46MB .CAB File)

The reason I split the pack is due to my ISP cutting me off every two hours, and the pack in one .CAB was too large to upload in that time, this coupled with my FTP Program being bitchy about resuming uploads, I decided this was the best course of action.

Any and all feedback is welcome here, so let me know what you think.

NOTE: Each weapon PBO may still be updated overtime, so keep checking the site for details, or I'll post news here biggrin.gif

Punishment: I don't know what time you tried to download the units, but the server they're hosted on has been up and down more than a hooker's pair of underpants. Just keep trying.

You still have that LOD issue on the back of the desert pointman's bandana still.

Thats just being picky, but it's there just so you know(again)

Great pack though! smile.gif

For those of you experiencing difficulties downloading from my site, the kind folks at http://ofp.gamezone.cz/ (see below biggrin.gif) and http://www.ofp.at have each agreed to host the files. So if the SJB Site wont let you download it, check out one of these great sites.

Cheers

Check our this thread over in the DISCUSSIONS board, and post your opinions on whether version 2.0 (which will be the next version with new weapons etc) should include animated goggles like BAS' Dleta/Ranger Pack.

What are you using to unpack the .CAB? That may be your problem. Try PowerArchiver, as it works for me (see my site for a link)

is it just me or does the M14 and M24 seem underpowered, it was taking 4+shots to the body to kill.

nonetheless, great units and awesome gun models

Do you have the new version (1.1) as those bugs were (or at least should have been) fixed in that version.

the m24 should kill or atleast wound a soldier so bad he has to crawl, just like the BAS m24... The m14 should almost be as powerful.
