Calistar 0 Posted April 7, 2003 Well, Ive looked at some books and Im going to go to the library and see if any are there. I dont really have any money to buy them just now. Anyways, does anyone know any websites that have information on the exercises that I could do?
dayglow 2 Posted April 7, 2003 there is no one magical exercise or program to do. Be active. Run. Do stuff you love and you'll get in shape. The main thing is get really good at moving your own body around. Situps, pushups, pullups, all that basic stuff. And run, run, run. COLINMAN
Tex -USMC- 0 Posted April 7, 2003 Get used to cold water. One of the largest reasons for washouts in the SEAL program is the cold water. We're talking 40 degrees Farenheit on a good day. Have fun, and apparently even the process of getting appointments to the SEAL program is very competitive.
peanuckle_00 0 Posted April 7, 2003 Some of us are real soldiers but go to a recruiter. Ask him questions like. 1. What kind of heart does a soldier have to have? A soldier is disciplined though, you gotta have this and that to qualify so fly straight and you'll make it in. It's not like it used to be, its become alot stricter to get in. IceFire 0 Posted April 7, 2003 I'd recommend against talking to recruiters when you are looking for information. Most recruiters will tell you anything to get you to sign. They are not a source or reliable information. They will tell you that you could just become a Navy SEAL, "Sure, no problem, just join with us and you can become one". sanctuary 19 Posted April 7, 2003 Hello I cant understand why some people want to be a seal A seal has no legs , they have to crawl and make ridiculous small jumps to advance on the ground , and they cant talk with intelligence, just make some retarded noise. Ok , they swim very well, but they mostly die before having 20 years (some of them have the record of 29 years old) And most horrific , the orcas (killer whales) in the sea like to eat seals !! Please, save your life , dont change yourself into a seal , stay a human !!
