Anyway it would make it a lot easier to translate at least the set up since i almost killed myself trying to install the dang thing!

killagee 0 Posted June 26, 2003 Sorry for resurecting an old thread. I just downloaded this mod and ran the setup (which I cant understand) but I think I got it right. I want to move the pho's etc to sort it out for the Mod Folder Launcher, but I cant find where they went... It definately extracts the files during setup, but where did they go? Anybody know? Cant wait for these guys guys to finish the Leopard 2a6 and Weisels....

vektorboson 8 Posted June 26, 2003 I'll guess: Look if there's a new folder Programme under C:\ I think they've installed it into C:\Programme\Opera.... a.s.o., otherwise make a search for any BWMOD*.pbo
DracoPaladore 0 Posted June 26, 2003 i think that english has developed from german and some other European languages a long time ago...so german could´nt be so bad. English is a mix alot languages around the world. Heavily on the Germanic with alot of sources from Latin as well as French(The word Carbine is French for Rifle). mr burns 132 Posted June 26, 2003 ok..i really wanna help so you can enjoy that great demo too. step by step it goes: double klick .exe Setup bssssst...extracting (my HD is loud..it sucks) --new window opened-- klick "weiter".. klick "weiter" again.. next window shows the path where it´s gonna be installed. (c:\games\operationflashpoint\  for me..i think it detects where ofp is installed since theres no "change install folder" button)... do i have to go further ? killagee 0 Posted June 27, 2003 oh dear...I am going ! I definatley do not get anything during set up that tells me the path or lets me select it. I am getting the impression that after extraction the setup figures I already have it installs. At the end of set up only one button is available, the others are ghosts. Arrrrgggh! Ich bin ein Deutche Soldat!
WhoCares 0 Posted June 27, 2003 ..."Abbruch der installation" = Install complete? ... "Abbruch der Installation" is more like "Cancel installation"
mr burns 132 Posted June 27, 2003 that´s strange... i suggest u do uninstall from start\settings\software and try it again. If it´s installed properly there should be a "bw-mod" folder with some .dll and .txt´s in your ofp dir.
killagee 0 Posted June 27, 2003 Hey! Thankx Mr Burns! That got it...

mr burns 132 Posted November 15, 2003 where did you download it ? if it wasn´t @ofp.info then i recommend you to download the bw-mod demo from their server. Fighter minimized it´s file size and i think he also had removed the installer....
