Vietnam gun trucks

Just curious, I sanyone going to make a decent vietnam-era truck, and if so, would you be willing to slap on some .50s in an effort to create a gun truck? There are several pictures on the internet of these trucks, go ahead and search, and then, (this is an idea, folks, bear with me) you could make several different logos on the sides of the trucks and randomize them in the manner that BIS used when creating liscense plates.

BIS doesnt have random license plate numbers....

Don't hold your breathe waiting for the armor or air pack. It will be a loooong time coming if at all. We had hoped other people would pitch in and help, but that never happened. Now that ST has been taking it easy after the BAS releases, and Evis and myself knee-deep in BAS work, God only knows when the Viet work will continue. There are more than enough addons in the pack to create any number of missions and campaigns. Waiting for more addons is a waste of time in my opinion.

I wish some other addon makers would continue with the Nam era work like Aeon and the guy who did the NVA armor has.

That's too bad. I mentioned to the RSS team that it might be nifty if they could skin one of their new T-54/55s in Vietnamese markings. I don't think they said "yes" or "no" to it. I guess we'll have to see.

Would you guys be willing at all to compose a "v2.5" pack with these various third party addons with Aeon's work and those vehicles?

Yea, I have also seen cargo trucks with empty m113 shells bolted to the rear deck with .50 cals on top, pretty bitchin. Anyway, yes, I think that we should interrupt some addonmaker's lives and get them to make a Sheridan, a gun truck, a decent cargo truck, an ontos, an m48, etc. I just hope that the whole vietnam thing picks up steam in ofp.

Got M551s in the works for an NTC vismods mod I started, I'll be posting screenshots on the RHS site and here when got something worth posting again. Among a few other things that fell by the wayside I wanted to create, like correct armor crew skins for west side. and other OPFOR related stuff.
