How to find/use Warfare maps

I just got into Arma 2 and really enjoy the Warfare mode, however i want to play more of these types of missions, but can not find either custom missions/maps to download, or how to set this up in the editor. Ive got the basics of synchronizing units to a Warfare module, but the AI wont do anything other than construct buildings, they wont build units or attack objectives, and i cant find any tutorials on warfare mode

You might be using groups or vehicles, which causes issues in game.

 

This video on YouTube can help you with properly setting up a basic Warfare mission in the editor.

 

And this video on YouTube can help you with adding a description.ext file that includes the unique parameters Warfare uses, plus how to add a few custom parameters of your own for extra options.

 

I'm just starting to put together a third video on Warfare editing now, but don't know how long that one will take.

 

The videos are set unpublished on YouTube for now, meaning a search won't find them.  You have to click the link above to view them, but that could change later.   (I still have things to figure out about properly setting up my YT account, so that hyperlinks in video descriptions work, and what not.  I'm old, it's confusing).

 

I started putting these videos together a little while back, after finding out that Darren Brant's blog (which was the go-to site for Warfare how-to stuff) had gone away, as did Armaholic.  As for finding maps, all those I have were obtained from Armaholic before it went away, so don't really know where one would go now.

I congratulate you, those are excellent videos, in my case I don't like warfare, but they will be very useful for those who like them;
Old!? really!? I think you just have a lot of life experience, nothing old, we are not old, we just accumulate experience.
 Finally the issue of hyperlinks in the description is strange, it should work on its own, I don't remember having configured anything for that, maybe there is something but I don't remember that I changed anything.

Edit: I think it is related to the content configuration, I always choose that it is not made for children, I just read that if you choose that it is made for children the video has many restrictions, try setting your videos as not made for children.

Thank you, appreciate it much, I gave a quick search for "warfare" on the forums but there were so many dif ones i wasn't sure which exact ones i was looking for
