Its perfectly fine to want to know why they hate and do the things they do. It still does not mean that we should be afraid and not build up buildings anymore. According to the rationale thats going on here people seem to think that if the terrorists destroy something we should be afraid to rebuild it.

Thats just ridiculous, You can learn why and work to solve the problems and still continue to live your life.

I have already said they are NOT building over the bodies. The old towers "footprints" are being left alone. Thats were the park and memorial are going to go.

i worked there for 10 years and i personally knew hundreds of people who are gone.

Well that's true, but didn't people die on that whole block? I'm not trying to say that never rebuild, even if it comes across as that. But the threat stil remains and now the target will be even taller.

It ends up being upto New Yorkers, it's their city. I don't know, it may help New Yorkers heal emotionally, but it will frustrate the so called enemy more.

IMO the tower should be bigger, but more space should be dedicated to a museum/monument of some kind in the tower itself. I doubt companies will be lining up to rent office space anyway. Maybe we should top off the tower with a giant golden hand, proudly giving the middle finger salute in an Eastward direction. That would be sooooo cool.

You could get the Russians to build you a nice building, i really like the onion-top buildings! As you can tell i just bask in ignorance compared to the Norwegian and Swedish guys, how do you know so much about architecture you two?

The SR-71 loses most of it's fuel on takeoff right? It goes at mach 3 and the Americans say that there is no material that can deal with the expansion however the Russian Mig 25 can go at mach 2.8 (i think it can push it to mach 3 as well) and it has no problems with fuel leaking out.

If you want a heat retardant and fairly pretty building just ask the Russians to do it, but of course the Americans are still all bitter about the cold war even though bugger all happened to them, it was the Europeans who got occupied.
