theavonlady 2 Posted February 20, 2003 I had this problem in several missions. None of the missions reference anything to do with the DKM Mod or its addons. I started removing addons one by one by date in descending order. The cause of the error is file BTR70.pbo. This is a BTR 70, created by SEA DEMON & AKM74. I think the error shows up whenever you have a mission that uses the standard BRDM by BIS. The ReadMe says it's version 1.0b. Anyone know if there's a corrected version out there? The fastest non addod projectile Ive seen is probably cannons wich fire at 5000km/h but the tunguska fires at 14000 km/h. Gen.Carnage 0 Posted February 23, 2003 well you can check that script again... we set the 9M311 missiles maxspeed to mach 6.5, and yes, that is twice the speed of the real thing, it was necessary for ofp to actually hit a jet going at 800 km/h. unrealistic? yes you know what would have been really unrealistic? the tunguska firing 8 missiles at a fast jet and hitting nothing. That was the case with 'realistic' mach3 missiles. it seems your script missies the speed by a factor 2, either that or ofp is not sticking to its own rules. Rastavovich 0 Posted February 24, 2003 Well we had the choice between a missile system that will hit a plane with some unrealistic values (it would hit 80% afaik irl) and a system with regular values, that wouldn't hit anything and would make the whole system useless. benu 1 Posted February 25, 2003 Something regarding the "missing addon foobar" messages: I have all of my addons installed in a modfolder (in different modfolders actually) and often get a message like that (which does not cause me any problems at all). But i noticed that it always are THE SAME addons which cause that message (eg sttdesertbmp, kegsw44 (or similar), soundlddk, objects). And yesterday i noticed that some addons tend to get included automatically in ANY mission you make, although they are not used in that mission at all and that those are the same addons. Is this just because of the way (from what i've heard faulty) way ofp organizes it's addons, or is there something wrong with these addons? But it seems to have started after i loaded about 200mb more addons in, before that i never had any missing addon problems.
