Schwarzerhund 0 Posted June 18, 2022 I have been trying to find a solution to this for a while now. I stream and wanted to stream Arma and SP was my go to. So I have some mission by Tomahawk and others I play and about an hour or so I freeze hard into the stream and can't alt-tab out its a complete reboot. Any ideas I can send my pc specs and all rpts needed I just need to figure out what's up I have did two reinstall's and wipes. I don't know what else to do. Gunter Severloh 4052 Posted June 19, 2022 Hi Welcome to BI forums! Yes please post your computer specs, and locate your rpt ---> C:\Users\your username\AppData\Local\Arma 3 open it with notepad, copy all of it, and either paste it into a spoiler, or paste it here https://justpaste.it/ publish and post the link. Freezing might be due to not enough memory allocated, or memory being used up by gpu, and or the cpu's inability to keep up with the demand because of lack of memory (ram or HDD). Ideally a good cpu, lots of ram (and speed) are needed, and the game on an SSD. A gpu with low memory dont help either but you cant really change that i would think unless you upgrade to a better gpu with more memory, overall it comes down to cpu, ram and harddrive. If your demand from the game or otherwise is exceeding what your computer can supply or meet then the game is going to freeze as nothing able to be processed, its a balancing game so to speak.
kickbuttakis01 14 Posted June 20, 2022 I started playing with a milsim group that used quite a few mods, and my computer would freeze, requiring a reboot. It would seem to happen at random times. I upgraded from a 4gb gpu to a 8gb gpu and it never crashed after that.
