Micky Nub 6 Posted January 30, 2022 I just started playing A3. When in Steam and selecting a mod or dlc then going into the game to select a campaign or scenario, etc and then continuing into the game the mods or dlcs don't show. I have them checked in steam a3. Example I have Unsung checked and going into the game to play it it does not show up.

Micky Nub 6 Posted February 1, 2022 I downloaded the A3Launcher but I am not using it yet. I got the Prairie Fire DLC to run, but none of the mods seem to have any affect, and they are checked. I was playing a Prairie Fire scenario and was immersed for two hours.
Harzach 2517 Posted February 1, 2022 The Arma 3 Launcher is what you see when you first start Arma 3 from Steam:

Do you mean you're expecting the mods to now be used in the game instead of the original/vanilla content?

When you subscribed to mods on the workshop their installation is finalized through the launcher. Whatever method you use to start Arma 3 either through steam library, or a desktop icon, or even through the exe in the directory the launcher will usually be the first thing to come up, from there is the tabs on the left and then the mods tab. On the mods tab at the top of the list will be the mods checked these are the mods that will load with the game, if you have mods unchecked then they will be at the bottom usually in alphabetical order. I think you know this already. There might be a possibility that either three things are happening: 1. Your either missing required mods for whatever mods your trying to load. 2. Mods either are not fully reinstalled/corrupted or need a repair hence not loading 3. Your not sure on how to access the content (missions, or assets) from a mod in the game once your on the main menu. So the next question begs to ask is what mods are you trying to load or play with? and How are you trying to access the content for them, basically how are you trying to play with them? Welcome to BI forums btw!
Micky Nub 6 Posted February 1, 2022 Image by Harzach is what I see. However there is an A3Launcher external to the game, but not using it. I only have Praire Fire checked on the DLC tab, and on the MODS tab I have; Community Base Addons, CBA_A3, Remove Stamina, Reduced Haze, JSRS sound. I don't know how to verify that the Community Base Addons is being used. The Reduced Haze and JSRS sound seem to be working. However the Remove Stamina is not. Thanks all for replying. On the in-game main menu page, at the bottom, you will see icons for all loaded addons, as well as available/loaded DLC. You can also see this information in Options > Expansions. Gunter Severloh 4063 Posted February 3, 2022 You can also repair a mod through the launcher, if your not sure a mod is not loading or working correctly. You would want to do this if a mod is corrupted or not fully installed or whatever the reason the repair will update, reinstall, and refresh with the latest current version of the mod from the mod's page on the workshop. Its a good way to make sure that the mod is working properly at least for the mod's end, doing so eliminates and narrows down whatever issue you may be having, be sure any mods also has any required mods it needs so it works properly, which also can be found in the same place. Heres a video of how to do it, (not my video btw)
Micky Nub 6 Posted February 3, 2022 I noticed that I was missing @ace_compat_sog. I'll do some repairs and see what happens.
