Machine gun shoot

Recommended Posts

Just an FYI for anyone in the Kentucky area,  theres a gun range outside of Louisville that has a machine gun shoot twice a year. Next one in April. You can rent and shoot almost any automatic weapon ever made.

Knob Creek is alot of fun...but, as stated, can get pricey.

30 rounds of ammo goes fast in full auto. (and they sell it WAY over priced at most machinegun shoots)

I posted a thread a while back with some pics of some of the hardware that was in attendance at "Bullet Fest" (another machinegun shoot that takes place in Ohio).

I will be attending the "Hernando (Florida) Machinegun shoot" in a couple of months with some friends (and our combined hardware) biggrin.gif

have you attended before? what are the prices like?

There used to be something like that here in VA, but i cant remember where. I can understand the prices being a little high due to the upkeep of such rare and expensive weapons. (except Title 2 mfg)

I remember reading a couple of years ago that in China you could rent an RPG and other weapons at a "Gun park". That would be waayyy better then just renting a selective fire M16.

Weeeeeeeeeee!!! tounge.gif

Are you the same madmedic from arfcom?

Yep, thats me.

I would expect prices at most machinegun shoots to be in the range of $10-$25 for a 30 round magazine. (that can go up or down, depending on the weapon/calibre...and, of course the weapons owner)
