kerozen 187 Posted May 18, 2019 Probably sounds like a really stupid question but i have 0 experience about 3d modeling. I want to try and create a few objects for A3. Buildings, fences, simple stuff like that. How do i know what size to make stuff so its roughly the same size as A3 objects?
Jackal326 1181 Posted May 18, 2019 One large grid square in Object Builder (aka O2) is 1m (aka 100cm) as far as I can remember (going from memory isn't the best I'll admit).
HorribleGoat 1473 Posted May 20, 2019 There are reference models on Steam too. Arma 3 Samples. I would however suggest using some better program than Object Builder for 3d modeling. Blender for example is free, has addons for full Arma compatiblity and has quite a lot of tutorials on how it works.

Von Quest 1163 Posted May 21, 2019 You can set the size 1:1 scale in the software you usually use (I use Blender). It's built into the software. Use metric not imperial. ArmA (and the military) use meters. You can use all real-world measurements.
