gc8 981 Posted December 17, 2018 Anyone else has problem where arma keeps crashing? Just started doing it again today after being ok for weeks. Can spend like few minutes in the editor until it crashes
Valken 623 Posted December 17, 2018 We're you loading some old mods? Does it crash without mods? The only other thing I can think of is running out of RAM or HD SWAP space. You may need to reboot your PC then load up ARMA. RAM fragmentation can be an issue.
Gunter Severloh 4087 Posted December 17, 2018 Lets follow a protocol here and eliminate the 20 question interview and guessing game that were all go through to determine what the issue could be, so lets start with the following: Post your computer specs - OS, CPU Ram, HDD/SSD, GPU, PSU Post your RPT from your last game before it crashed and post the rpt here ---> https://justpaste.it/ When you start the game what do you start it with the arma3 launcher or another program? Are you playing with any mods? Working with scripts? What were you playing before it crashed, a mission you built, a downloaded mission? Using any commands for whatever your doing? For your computer, any known issues your computer is having while you play that could contribute to the crashing? When did the crashing start, and before you used a mod, script, or installed something be it a game update, Computer OS update, or something else? Running any external programs while your playing aside steam and maybe an antivirus? How do you maintain your computer, what is your maintenance schedule, defrag, CCleaner, antivirus? Do you dust the interior? Answer those if you can and lets see what we can determine.

I have lots of free RAM 19 minutes ago, Dwarden said: just use the arma 3 launcher to generate troubleshooting report I sent two reports last time this happened to feedback.bistudio.com But I can send more if you want? @Gunter Severloh Will think about those, thanks! Maybe worth mentioning that these problems started when I bought new PC. i never got crashes like these with the old PC. Though it had different kind of stability issues.... Yes im sure you can, but you should investigate yourself, and since you posted a thread on it, utilize the communities help if any is given, most important thing providing details, as per the questions i listed, maybe more. What i suggest is quoting each question i listed, and answering them as best as you can, we have quite a number of community members here that would have good insights into any information you provide. Gunter Severloh 4087 Posted December 18, 2018 Follow Dwarden's Suggestion in his post if you havent done so already. The little bits of info dont really help, why i made a list of questions, just answer them, so we can get a better scope of your situation otherwise its a guessing game and people would rather have the whole picture then turn this thread into a 3 page discussion, you want answers supply some information. gc8 981 Posted December 18, 2018 @Gunter Severloh Sure thing. But I was anticipating that the errors might go away which they did, no crashes today. I think it's my PC, maybe some bad automatic driver update or something. If it starts again I can get back to this thread.
