Kicked from Every Multiplayer Server

Recommended Posts

So I recently did a clean install of windows onto my PC and re-installed arma 3. The first day it all worked fine and I was able to join multiplayer servers. However the next day I tried to join a KOTH server and while i was able to join and select a role, as the game loaded in I was kicked with the message "you have been kicked from the server". This happened for every other server I tried to join on multiple missions. Every server has a green mark with a question mark in it, but I have all the DLC and no mods running.

So far I have tried

-verifying game files

-re installing the game

-using malloc system

-making a new profile

-unsubbing from all steam workshop mods

-attempting to join game through the launchers

and none have worked, if anyone has encountered this and has a fix it would be greatly appreciated.

Also may not be relevant but about the same time my game started to randomly crash with the 0x0000005 status_access_violation message although im not sure that would affect my ability to join servers.

Does this error occur when joining official severs without any mods?

Have you tried reinstalling BattlEye?

Can you share an RPT from when this happend? (Copy the contents of your RPT into something like pastebin.com and share the link here.  How to find RPTs: https://community.bistudio.com/wiki/Crash_Files#Arma_3)

For that status access violation:

Quote

This error is very generic. It may be caused by many issues, such as a hardware malfunction, a virus in the computer, but also an error in the game itself. Possible solutions:

  • Try joining another server, then rejoin the previous one.
  • Update the graphics card drivers to a newer version.
  • Rollback the graphics card drivers to an older version.
  • Check the temperature of your GPUs and CPUs.
  • Verify the integrity of the game cache using Steam.
  • Re-install DirectX.
  • Uninstall the Visual C++ 2013 Redistributable package (both x86 and x64 version), restart your computer and install the package again (do not use the Repair function).
  • Run a Windows System File Check tool to repair corrupted system files.

Sorry forgot to say I had reinstalled battleye and removed the files completely and re-installed before. How do I get a crash report if it is not a crash issue?

Also thanks for the help with the status access violation help!

Browse to: %userprofile%\AppData\Local\Arma 3, there will be a bunch of files with the extention .rpt.  They'll have a date and time in their name.  Copy the content of one of the files with a date and time from just before you tried to join a server.  And paste that into something like pastebin.com and link that here.

The only strange thing I can find in there is "13:56:35 No more slot to add connection at 015030 (1523.6,3012.8)".  Have you managed to fix that status access violation?

Hi Bohemia,

Rather than start a new thread, I'll just piggy back this one.

Since the Tac Ops update, I cannot join any server. I just get the message "You have been kicked from the server" every single time. I tried every method listed above to no avail.  I actually got frustrated and uninstalled the game but as I love it so much I downloaded the thing again today from Steam only to find the problem still exists.

Is there anything I can do to get online again or am I to be doomed to SP only?

HALP!

Have you:

  • Verified your local files
  • Made sure your firewall doesn't block needed connections
  • Made sure your antivirus isn't blocking certain needed things
  • Reinstalled battleye
  • Tried connecting to any of the official servers without mods

And could you share your RPT?  Use something like pastebin.com if possible.

Hi Stanhope,

Thanks for the response. Please see answers and RPT link below:

Verified your local files YES

Made sure your firewall doesn't block needed connections - TURNED FIREWALL OFF

Made sure your antivirus isn't blocking certain needed things - TURNED AV OFF

Reinstalled battleye - DONE

Tried connecting to any of the official servers without mods - TRIED THIS

I'd really appreciate any assistance you can provide as I really miss playing online.

Cheers

Try again and remove -noLogs from the params.  Then share the RPT again.

I fixed it! It was the DAA.pbo key causing the problem. After I removed it...Great Success! I joined different servers.

Thanks for your help. I found the error in the RPT file.

Cheers!
