1para{god-father} 105 Posted January 26, 2018 Does anyone have a script that will take over AI like in the very old insurgency so you can then play that unit until he get killed then spawn into another unit ? Could not find anything Cheers
pierremgi 4905 Posted January 26, 2018 Do you mean like remoteControl ? (see Lou Montana example)

What is a good use case for this? Give driving instructions to an AI unit?
Grumpy Old Man 3546 Posted January 26, 2018 I'd rather use selectPlayer instead remoteControl, since remoteControl seems to be made to control vehicles, not units. Cheers
pierremgi 4905 Posted January 26, 2018 Hello guys, just test it! Yes, you can switch to another infantry unit. As said in BIKI, don't forget the camera view and the return ticket when dying. selectPlayer seems also a good option. Have fun testing!
1para{god-father} 105 Posted January 28, 2018 So how would i say have 2 slots where players can use the select player ? i.e look at the map select any AI unit then take them over ?
johnnyboy 3797 Posted January 28, 2018 When placing units in the editor, open up the units attributes. Check the Playable box for as many units as you want. And have one unit checked as Player. When you run the mission you switch from one unit to another. The option to switch to units is found when you press the T key (I think that is the default key for this).
