Flying Circus (reloaded)

Since physX recently destroyed most of my addons I will thankfully have more time for this new project:

I will revisit my old flying circus mod.

Luckily there are no noticeable effects of the physX changes here due to the low speeds involved (yet).

 

You can expect a few more of my own creations and eventually some upgrades to a few of Helijahs aircraft.

The total number of aircraft will be lowered so there is a higher chance of being able to maintain it beyond one or two Arma updates (being optimistic here).

I plan to make some really simple maps with two airstrips too.

Having a blast with terrain builder (not really). Having huge respect for map builders right now.

Cool stuff!

 

Can't wait to see what you will do with the new damage model and PhysX stuff. WW1 aircraft were feared by technicians for their complexity. Some of them even had morphing wings O_o (Eindecker) :)

The new damage model should be in some of the planes of the released mod already (probably in the Camel). I will extend it to the rest of the bunch too.

What I want to look into are scripts that cut off the engine during inverted flight.

 

About physX: I plan to ignore it. Below 50 kilometres/hour the old non physX system still works.

Yep the E.IIIs wing warping is already live in the current mod. Have it in the Etrich Taube too.
