Yes, you are right of course. I just hate the fact that somebody might have a bigger shell casing then I have since I carried the bloody thing and it was bloody heavy biggrin.gif

i can get a french ww1/2 75mm casing whenever i want smile.gif

it's a shame that today , the good ol' cast iron casings have been replaced by those composite alliages painted ones and that they're just today an assemblage of propulsive charges

I checked what my shells say on the back. The smaller one says this: LOT15 0.105CP 1924 Sc Bx

And in the middle it says: AFM

I dunno what all that means, but it would be nice if someone can tell me what kinda shell it is. Does anybody know where i could indentify my shells? A good website or something like that?

all about History mate

"I took this back from Kosovo"

sounds a lot better than

"I bought this on E-bay"

Hehehe, i got 5 shells, i didn't have to carry them for a long time, they are real shells used during WW2, they aren't damaged (or at least not too much), they look good for their age smile.gif , and i had to do nothing at all to get them.

Aaaaaah, life's a wonderful!

Im guessing the 0.105CP would mean its a 105mm shell?

Complete guesswork there...

Hmmm yeah, could be, i'll measure my shells tomorrow, perhaps that might help me out. I'm not good at guessing how big something is so i'm not gonna try that.
