Daimler ferret mk2

Recommended Posts

Hi.

This is the addon I´m working in....

It´s made in MAX4...is almost unwrapped and ready to be textured. This are some MAX screenshots with a fast basic shadow texture applied thank´s to my friend Capittaine Haddock.

The Shadows you see are in the texture, not from Max lights...

When the unwrapp is finished I will be able to start the color texture.

Yes sort of smile.gif

The first version was in the WW2.

The model I´m making is the version that was in the Falklands war.

They are some newer models but they don´t have the "feeling"

Hehe...

I don´t really remember the exact number of polys but it´s around 3500....more or less.

It looks like that because of the smoothing groups.

Here you have some wireframe smile.gif

Sorry....I forgot to mention (as usual I forget something)...

The detailed interior will be a separate model....around 3500 polys as well.

The external model has a low poly interior that I might use if i get the hatchets to open when Turning the driver and gunner out... smile.gif

I've seen a few of those for sale on various websites. They are street legal! What kind of weapons will it have?

It is indeed a very nice model biggrin.gif

The only thing is... Was it used in the Falklands War? I've never seen pictures of it at all....

The only kind of armoured vehicle that resembles it was the Argentine Panhard...

I read somewhere that it was in the Falklands...may be I didn't...

It ended service in the 90's so it was probably used there as scout vehicle.....

If it wasn't....doesn't really matters....I like this little bastard tounge.gif

Good textures are done, not Born ;P

I might have made a mistake about the Falklands...

Any way it has been a very used British armoured Scout Car
