Airwolf 50 Posted April 30, 2002 my airwolf chopper is in game now, but it has no textures, i copyed the rotor plate from the blackhawk demo model and put it on my airwolf model, so it shows the black hawk rotor blade as seen below, i had to delete the proxys that came along with the blackhawk because the game crashed with them, i would like to change the rotor texture and add textures to the rest of the helicopter and the internal of the aircraft, can anyone help? I have textures from flight simulator but they wont work in oxygen i dont think, they are made to be outlined by an x and y axis on the bmp file, and since i never got into repainting ofp vechs before o2 i really dont have a clue what format to use, i know you have to use pac or paa from what i have read, but i dont know how to convert and make it work in o2, anyone help? thanks! here is screenshot. WKK Gimbal 0 Posted April 30, 2002 You need texview from BIS. It will convert tga files to pac or paa. Generally choose pac for everything, except textures with transparent areas (alpha channel) there you use paa. Acceptable file sizes are any combination of power of two, up to 256x256 I've found that UV mapping in o2 is VERY good. it's quite easy to get them in place and the Gizmo Mapper rocks. If you already have surfaces defined in the model file, it's simply to double click in the texture list to select the area and then autofit the BG mapper. Rob 1 Posted May 1, 2002 i dont know how to apply the textures but i could seperate them into the right pixel sizes and make the alpha channels for the windows.. You will have to find out how to apply the textures by yourself... even i can't find out how to do it but i can make the correct skins E-mail me the skins at [email protected] and tell me which ones you need done. It would also help if i had the model also to get an idea of what the sizes should be. I hope i can help mate
